Necro damage did not need -4. If anything, it needed like +2; It was already severely underpowered for a pure toss build.
Unfortunately, shortening night just made the two strongest heroes (psycho and rm) much stronger for PKing, although slightly less effective at base breaking (not by much).
Psycho still needs a dropship "building" timer.
Magic orb needs less armor (with possibly more hp)
I'm not entirely sure when this happened, but pest spawner now costs too much with gas & minerals. The gas cost seems a good balancer to me, but perhaps reduce the mineral cost by 10-15.
Firebat spawner should remain at 4, as firebats suck ass already. For the most part, they hurt your team more then they help (only helpful with many spawner to base break).

I approve of the cannon balance.
Approve of "necromind"

Other thoughts:
reduce cost of ultralisk speed upgrade by 5 minerals, and +5-10 gas. (mainly the minerals part)

Being that the Necro is a summoner of sorts, it makes sense that his summons should do the majority of his dmg for him, not the Necro himself. The Psycho and RM aren't even close to the strongest heroes, IE both the Serpent and CoM can both rape them easily. Also, so can the Illusionist. Night being shorter really helps nerf things like CoM, Ninja, and CM that thrived on that long night. The cost increase for Pests is a good idea, as it is still way too easy to spawn cheese. Cannon balance is good, Necromind spell is good. And I agree that ultra speed is a little pricey.

EDIT: Also, how does making night shorter make PK heroes stronger? It is much easier to sneak up on someone at night.

Toss build necro is still perfectly viable because ups are still +4 and gravedancers still own.

Spawners seem to be better balanced that ever now, but of course I'm still trying to perfect this. (It's hard), and pest spawner increased in cost by like... only $2 > >.

So... I've notice how HARD it is to get a full game of HS going. So... perhaps everyone that is interested in playing against opponents who are actually decent and not two noobs that happen to drop in... well we can all just post what days/times we are online for HSing? Me... (Times are in EST) well Mon from 1:30 PM to whenever, Tue from about 3:30 PM to whenever, Wed not until about 10 PM if at all - work/school ALL DAY 12+ hours :( - Thur is the same as Tue, and Fri is the same as Mon.

So yeah... just post your times if you are looking to HS it up :P

Okay, good idea. Everyone who plays HS, add me online USEAST my account name is Norm-

First step to getting a tournament is to find the players.

Meanwhile, everyone try to find a good 2 or 3 person team and practice a bunch.

If a tournament is hosted, it can be hosted by myself, and I'd probably do it in approx 1 month from now, so early to mid July to give everyone a chance to hear about it and participate / practice a bunch.

The version by then will be 1.08 - which will be very similar to 1.07 except like 2 things I forgot to change (ooops) and any bugs that are found between now and whenever I open up SCMdraft.

Norm you mentioned that you, IDK what the other guy's name was, and I should be on a team. I'm game for that, except that if we don't manage to get a good pool of skilled players, I don't want out team to be like stacked or anything. For now thought count on it being you, a person, and I as a team. I was thinking maybe The_Joe?

Yeah darkone, you're on my team for sure, and we'll get a 3rd once we see what kind of player pool is going to turn out. Next time we play together, discussion of the team we will use shall commence.

Norm, its come to my attention that the winners of the tourny are most likely going to be the ones that spawn rush. I'm thinking that if that happens, then it might lead to spawn rushing needing to be take out. :(

Spawn isn't broken in HS, especially not 1.08. (And, yes, I have a few new ideas up my sleeves.)
