I'd like to find some futuristic games for the PC, but I'm bad at looking for stuffs. I saw dark void previewed before and it looked awesome, but the reviews I saw all said it was very generic. So, gonna skip on that. Anything you guys can recommend to me?

* Great for multiplayer
This is by no means a complete list, but I enjoyed each of them. Special recommendations are marked in orange. (Note how there's much more orange for the older games )
Btw. I don't know if you've heard about it, but there's a great set of campaign mods for StarCraft called Vision of the future. I think it's the 3rd part where it pays off to have played Wing Commander Prophecy, because the new race is based off it.
I've been looking for a good futuristic space sim myself, unfourtinately none of them(so far) seem any good.
Space Simulator, huh? Try SIMTrek.
On a more serious note, a good modern game that should fall into this category is Freelancer. It's a space shooter with RPG elements. And there's a nice mod for it with a PvP and a Role Player server where you can fly anything from a fighter, over a freighter to a battleship and actually play your role by interacting with human pirates, police, freelancers, etc.
But maybe that's not quite what you're looking for? Maybe more like Project Nomad? If yes, then Independence War 2 might interest you. It's more mission based though.
Another seemingly interesting game (haven't played it) is Precursors from this website.
I've heard EVE Online is pretty good..Haven't ever played it though.
EVE is awesome, if you can get past the first few months and generally have some patience. It's also a game that really requires you to play with other players to be fun.
I quite liked it. The way you could customize and control every movement your spaceship made was awesome. You can make about anything 'manual' from 'automatic' once you get good with the controls.
