terrible game today, and exactly why i hate pubs... i was chronos, and was doing really well, ganking by myself a lot early game, got 2 kills in the first 5 minutes... except my team had 10 deaths in first 5...

so other team gets farmed, and my team, instead of just going as a group and actually playing the team as a game, runs in one at a time, and subsequently die... i just basically gave up and tried to initiate my team, at which point magmus would lava ride away, and everyone else would phase boot away... In the end, my team had 5 kills total... the other team decided to stat farm my team, who was still running one by one into them even though they were in our base clumped together.

final score: 30:5, them... and we were chronos, warbeast, magmus, NYMPH, and nighthound, vs. a puppet, kraken, tree, arach, and moon queen...

Stop playing Easy Mode and you run into less people who have zero idea how to play the game.

I thought you were cool before, Faz. Don't accuse and therefore insult us of playing Easy Mode, or you'll drop out of favour.

Wow Faz, thanks for the tip. Too bad I always try to play regular and I hate playing EM because how it shifts the meta-game from intelligence support to str/agi carries. I'm glad you're so fast to assume that I play easy mode, the fact of the matter is you claim to be good and full of knowledge, but you have yet to prove anything. All talk and no play really. But I'm glad that we're being civil here.

I suck at this game... I need help. What items should I get at the beginning, mid-game, and late-game? (I use Slither)

I was farming for about 40+ minutes, and once we started pushing, I managed to get a 9 kill streak along with 25 assists. I know it sounds like a lot, but with Predator and a Transmute, the farming gets really easy. I never go back to fountain and if I get ganked, magic immune + tp will save me. The game was at least 70 minutes too, so it's not unreasonable to say. I could take on their whole team at once, but as the game progresses, it was harder and harder for me to take them down because of my team mates inability to help carry the team.

if you go under the "reccomended" section in the store, you should be able to see good items for slither. but you have to be slither to see those items.

soul reaper's ultimate is the most amazing thing in the world. it pwns kongor like hell. you can kill kongor really early.
i wish scouts ultimate was on a different hero, cause i love the ultimate and the concept, cept the rest of the hero sucks. dwarven sniper sounds really fun.

Oh, I thought by transmute you meant transfigure (Sheepstick), not Alchemist's Bones. I've never heard it called that before. That's much more reasonable.

Soul Reaper's ultimate is broken at the moment, it does pure damage instead of magic damage. He probably won't be anywhere near as good once they fix that.

I've seen really good Slither players get Assassin's Shroud or Portal key, they can be great initiators with the slow+DoT's.

played game as soul reaper. went 12-1-19
me (lvl 14) torturer (lvl 16) and arachna (lvl 12) killed kongor. then some asshole night hound snuck in and stole our revival item that kongor drops. after we killed kongor we pretty much pwned from there on. final score was 53-11.
we killed kongor twice in the game.

i got transfigure and staff of master and i was unstoppable. our torturer was really good, though

tansfigure is kuldra.
too many assholes who talk in dota terms when they should talk in hon terms to be completely unambiguous.

Also faz, it was Me, racoon, hydro, ultimo, and kow, I think. The problem was we all sucked except for ultimo and hydro (who left). My router keeps bugging out, so I get 30 seconds of lag spikes at a time, and frequently die because of it, but there were a few times I went in when I shouldn't have (and I'm getting better).

The name escaped me for a second, so I just used the effect which is Transmute. I use DotA terms because they're more familiar to me, but I try using HoN terms when I can. You guys did fine but their whole team just outperformed us.
