This is what we actually call "to jump in the bandwagon", which is exactly what people should not do!
Personally, I appreciate the fact that there are so many people abstaining: it proves they aren't voting for anything.
... but! Keep in mind we must lynch someone each day so instead of having unequalized votes due to low voting count, do your part over which clue you think is the best?
I know I've said this was what we shouldn't do, but it seems like people took it too seriously: we still need votes even if all the clues provided seems wrong :S

Dear Reader,

The results of today's lynch were truly horrific. After a lengthy debate process with heated arguments given by many townspeople, the pitchfork-wielding mob finally decided to execute Brontobyte for his crimes. Two burly members of the mob led Brontobyte up to the podium where a pitchfork was produced in preparation for the lynching. Suddenly, however, Brontobyte jerked out of the men's grasp, pulled out a long, serrated knife and ran at lil-Inferno, screaming.

Most of the people in the crowd froze in horror as Brontobyte stabbed lil-Inferno in the thigh. Before Brontobyte could wield his weapon again, two uniformed policemen tackled him, forcing the knife through his overalls and into his heart. The body of Brontobyte lay in the dust, his life expended, and we could see that was not mafia. As for the victim of the knife attack, lil-Inferno, well now he is open to attack. We like to look up to our leaders in such times of crisis, but I fear he may not live the night...

Well, shit, I'm probably dead meat. However, before I die, I'd like to reveal that a detective has been working with me throughout the game. They used the ability to find out how many Mafia voted for someone on a day, and they used it on BrontoByte. It appeared that no Mafia voted for him. If a doctor could protect me tonight, that would be great. If you can't, then GG for me.

If you die tonight, I will vow my mafia existence to avenging you.
