Geez!!!! You look like you put a ton of work into this. I love learning bits and phrases from other languages, and I can't say I know anything in Zulu so it should be nice to know. As for the plot, I love the part about the mysterious man who speaks to him at the well. Possibly all of my favorite story's and bocks have a mysterious character or mentor and its really cool how you can integrate them into the plot. I also like how Shaka seems to be of noble birth(his great power or whatever) and then gets treated like junk. I think this is a nice part of the plot as well. I also like how all of the people/places/thing otherwise known as nouns are actual Zulu. I checked them online and the ones I did checked out so thats sweet that you didn't just make it all up. On suggestion would be to get some graphics designers to make some units but maybe you want to keep it simple so it's just suggestion. Another suggestion is to have it be more than 1 player, it changes the aspect of the game and gives alot of versatility to the plot. Like you could have them be enemies or buds, or even cooler first enemies then turn to buds halfway through or vice versa. Anyways I am rambling so just i guess good luck and have fun with it. I'll check back often to see your progress and please don't quit! it sounds like you've put alot of work/thought in it and I think it has some potential. Check ya later.

Glad to see someone is still interested. I thought about having people make up some units for me but it would take tons of time and I don't have anyone to do it. Don't you have to have a special program to run it also when you do that? Idk, as for the progress, I'm still working on ideas but I thought up some pretty good ones so I'm probably at 90% or so on ideas. Everything else is the same, I had a tennis tournament so I took like a week off. Now I'll probably get back to work and hopefully I can finish the terrain in two weeks or so :D Thanks for reviving the topic lol! And I would love to hear back from anyone who reads this junk :)

This looks fun, let's see if you can follow through ;)

I also like the display text idea, it's annoying for the text to go too fast/slow.

I can't see this map succeeding w/o scmloader. Renaming a marine zimbabwe doesn't even give the minimum level of immersion required. When you make just to bring to life an awesome story floating around in your head it will typically fail. Huge mapping projects are seen through when the emphasis is on an innovative new trigger structure or unit counter-balance design.

Oct 5 2007, 3:25 am Jello-Jigglers Post #27

So can you help me out there because I've never done any work with scmloader and I don't know how to do 3d modeling or anything... I haven't even ever used scmloader to play a map. I just know regular triggers..... I would love to get this going as a team project if we could get a 3d model designer and maybe someone to either help me or maybe I'll just be the storyline guy or whatever, but as it is it will just be a regular starcraft map. So I guess any people that would like to help working on this project, either pm me or post a resume and lets get cookin :D

Haha ok well yeah sure you can join a team. If I get enough people I'll make a list, if not I'll just make it on my own. :) And yes there will be experience and all that other good stuff like levels :D

Well I'm really glad someone is excited because it doesn't seem to be drawing in that big of a crowd as of now. Maybe once I get a demo up or something. :)

The past three weeks have been school from heck so I have had literally no time to work on it. Hardly any updates except maybe 1-2%+ on the terrain progress. Hopefully my schedule will clear up a ton and I'll be able to start cookin' with Crisco. :) I'll try to keep everyone(2 people) updated :P. Until next time.

sounds like moisture control is often a pressing concern in your city
