ok um, i've just got to say that this is possibly the best map ever fucking made.
I mean serious pro shits right here like wtf! The trees even catch on fire! (which is a cool trick, i might use it in a map of mine lol)
Anyways, just had to res erect this thread because the map is awesome!

Fucking read the first post. He says that he will not continue work on this map, so he is posting the beta, which has what he has done so far.

And Lethal has actually finished a new spell for the Lux class recently. He was on battle.net a week or two ago talking about how awesome it is. However, he's still not planning on finishing it. It's just another thing to tease you guys with

The balance is kind of screwy though, Lightning is much better than Fire simply because he can teleport to inaccessible areas (top left).

He can just teleport away whenever he sees a meteor shower coming, or charge up.

Definitely could see this being really really popular, though, if it gets finished.

I see no balance issues. You can attack that area with fireballs from the nearby tree. In fact, when I was palying Fire I always used to avoid any kind of contact and wage my war via the trees - you can't dodge all the fireballs I send at you, and I can send a lot due to the fireball's low mana cost.

Nah thats wrong, they are really well balanced. If he keeps teleporting he runs out of mana and you hit him with meteors, if he stops to attack you fireball him.

Two teleports is cheaper than a meteor shower, not to mention Fulmen's recharge ability. I haven't played too much, but I haven't found a way to hit the Fulmen on the high temple with anything but a meteor.
