The English language has been slaughtered with slang and misunderstandings. What I want to know is what words, spellings, punctuation and anything English related. Piss you off the most.

Well aware I have poor English... hense the topic... now be constructive or disconnect your power supply.

Ah, who cares about English. The problem is that the problems in English (the slang and all) have passed into other languages. It's a real tragedy. English has, of course, evolved with time, and with the increasing dependence of the language on the younger generation, the degeneration is accelerating

'Alo dar, mate! And you're right, that might also have accelerated the degeneration: The various places where it's spoke. From 'A spot of tea' to 'ALO DAR, MATE' to 'Eh!' and whatever Americans do, the different languagy habits intermingle. As does slang.

Just here for the activity... well not really

I'll answer those many questions with a simple 'who cares'. Look it up online, don't ask about grammar on SEN...

You're lucky I can't report people on PSP... I care and that's why I'm asking. If you do not care, do not post. HINT.

All the damn rules, as long as people can understand then its good enough. I think people who rage over 9000 because of simple mistakes are gay

What REALLY bothers me is that dreamt is the only word in the English language that ends with "mt".
Also it really bothers me when people use "well, like, yaknow" excessively. It's really stinking annoying.
Edit: And just to be constructive for you
Semicolon
Use a semicolon to join 2 independent clauses when the second clause restates the first or when the two clauses are of equal emphasis.
Road construction in Dallas has hindered travel around town; streets have become covered with bulldozers, trucks, and cones.
Use a semicolon to join 2 independent clauses when the second clause begins with a conjunctive adverb (however, therefore, moreover, furthermore, thus, meanwhile, nonetheless, otherwise) or a transition (in fact, for example, that is, for instance, in addition, in other words, on the other hand, even so).
Terrorism in the United States has become a recent concern; in fact, the concern for America's safety has led to an awareness of global terrorism.
Use a semicolon to join elements of a series when individual items of the series already include commas.
Recent sites of the Olympic Games include Athens, Greece; Salt Lake City, Utah; Sydney, Australia; Nagano, Japan

Well...ya know, some people like cant help themselves.
Anyway English is English...one of the easier to learn languages, but seams to have so much room for additions.

Door henge.
It's not door henge; it's door hinge and aside from that the 'door' is completely unnecessary as the last syllables are the only ones that matter and on that same note many words rhyme with 'silver' (deliver, forever etc).

I don't want to start an arguement, but those don't rhyme with silver. They sound somewhat close, but do not rhyme.
Also door just makes hinge flow with orange by the, "o" sound.

I think the point is that words like "silver" and "orange" only have near-rhymes and not any real rhymes.

Dreamt is an archaic spelling. While i was typing this post it was marked as a spelling mistake

"I could care less." - Not technically incorrect; I don't care that it's not.
Quotation marks should not be forms of "emphasis".
"Literally" should not be used as an exaggeration. This one I have a particular soft-spot for, as
what is the point of the word "literally", if it is not used literally
?"Rouge" is a French-derived term for reddish-colors; It is
not a rebel, infiltrator, or any other of the other uses for the word "rogue".
Nothing more comes to mind at the moment...
edit:
"It's" is not the possessive "it". "It's" is a contraction for "it is".
