You must not have played the earlier games either, since if you had you'd know they made RE4 look like a kiddy cartoon on a sunday afternoon. RE1 was scary. RE4 was lulz.

If you think that RE 4 was scary then you haven't played RE at all

I remember going through halls or around corners in previous REs where the camera would basically leave everything to your imagination. You'd only see a small piece of the room and suddenly when you least expected it there was a zombie that jumped onto you right when you went around that corner which you couldn't see what was behind it. Things were much more darker and in some places you even had to start randomly poking stuff cause lights were off, pretty hard to find the fucking light level switch when you can't see anything but you can hear that you're sorrounded by zombies, or at least you hope they're only zombies.

You could spend weeks and even months trying to figure out something and running out of ammo was a real bitch specially if you didn't carry the knife because you needed the space to bring the ink ribbons with you, lmao.

If you haven't by now played an old one, I recommend you to do so.

Of course RE5 is gonna be scary

You have to worry about a certain group of people hunting you because they think you're racist for playing RE5.

Well i tried finding Re1 on ebay but apparently the auctions got too high
and i hope so that RE5 is scary

Try local used game shops if you really want one. I know I can get a copy for like $5 at mine.

Just played the RE5 demo and I must say its much more... scarily evil and realistic then RE4.

Also when playing the second demo level, bitch at yer partner for the Mp-5, it saves a fucking life, besides she gets a rifle.

well of course its more realistic, dur its 360 and, so much better graphics and movements
i just hope its scary. i hate the chainsaw dudes in this game now.. they cant be knocked down which makes the chainsaw dude on demo extremely annoying

More realistic as in the game doesnt pause when you open your inventory...not like graphics. Seriously this community has never cared about graphics as much as most do (Relying on this fact as we all do still play starcraft, then again the graphics in SC are sexy)

The first Ratchet and Clank was like that too. Then in the second and third, the game pauses when you open your inventory wheel. (I still have not played Deadlocked/Size Matters/Secret Agent Clank/Tools of Destruction/Quest for Booty)

idk i found the inventory that opens without pause annoying sometimes, i died couple times. but ill get used to it
and the new hotkey things so u can change to shotgun or watever faster

I will not be buying this game. I do wish they would do remakes of the originals (1, 2, 3) because those were the best. They actually were pretty scary.

Anyway, my point is RE has lost that feeling of paranoia when coming up on those camera angles. It actually required patience because you kept dieing so much ( XD )..

I've played the RE5 demo as well as RE4 and found nothing interesting in them at all. Those bosses you fought on the RE5 demo were super lame... A big executioner guy with a huuuuge axe like Pyramid Head's sword and some guy with a chainsaw..

What ever happened to the tyrants, the scientists, dogs, lickers, police, and etc.. that made the games interesting.

I've heard Jill Valentine (RE1, RE3, and some others) dies in this too. If thats true, I really hate what RE has become. She was a great character in the plot and now they introduce Sheva? That is super lame.

ya i jumped when the bug things attacked me cuz they were invisible
also i was creeped out by the regenerators
and some other parts that jumped out at me

...RE4 is not scary... Bugs? They might be nasty but, scary? Hell no.
