If you read, you stated, "Dialect and accent is like the same thing" and I said, "Again you are wrong. You said they are like the same thing."
Clearly you don't know english. Like does not mean exactly.
Did I say you said exactly? I don't think so. However you did get me with the word, "like". The whole point of my original post was to point out that the word, "accent" was used incorrectly. Since all we did was go into an agrument about something small and stupid this argument has become stupid. The argument was unintentional and I'm going to stop arguing with you and stop spamming this topic.

What the hell is the difference between Northern, North Eastern, and Neutral?
Northern is New York some parts of New York and places around it (Sometimes including Boston). It's how all TV anchors tries to talk like since it is "the clearest heard".
North Eastern is New York City and parts of northern New Jersey where people talk fast so some pronounciations sounds like it is being left out.
Neutral is like PA, and other places that doesn't have influences and it is like "The regular American English".
Boston is considered Northern but it's different because they put emphasis on the o by aw. Kind of weird since Brooklyn, NYC and Boston sounds the same.
None.
I think we can all agree that Brooklyn English and British English are both abominations.

I never said you said exactly. I said like doesn't mean exactly. Finally you admit that you made a fault. Thanks for the spam run

Okay finally you admit that you made a fault. Thanks for the spam run.
Okay last post.
You also had made a fault by using the word accent instead of dialect even if the are alike it was still used incorrectly.

You should learn to be a man of your words. I had no fault because I just used the title from the quiz. Like I said before, go talk to the quiz maker, not me. Thanks buddy.

I got Canadian, so the test is probably right.
However, some test questions were very vague. And besides, I don't pronounce it "aboot". You're thinking about the far East Coast. Like Nova Scotia.

I guess western... stalk and stock are the same...

I got western, yet I was born in Ohio...Odd

North Eastern. Not that I care, but thank god it's not southern. I can understand and talk to pretty much everyone I know, even people with weird Indian accents.

Indeed. Anyone know Eva from Red Alert 3?

I am actually wondering what accent I have. It
should be german accent english but I was told that I sound a little american. That's probably because I (not knowingly) copy the accents I hear in movies. That's why I voted Northern (TV anchor).
Just here for the activity... well not really
Western is kind of neutral, but not quite since it`s still possible to tell where you`re from. So you might not actually be from the West (but you probably are). If you really want to sound "neutral," learn how to say "stock" and "stalk" differently.
I was expecting Southern
LIKE A TRUE TEXAN
Instead I get west coast

Which American accent do you have?My Results:
Neutral You`re not Northern, Southern, or Western, you`re just plain -American-. Your national identity is more important than your local identity, because you don`t really have a local identity. You might be from the region in that map, which is defined by this kind of accent, but you could easily not be. Or maybe you just moved around a lot growing up.
