Hi, I'm mapmaker from Poland (yeah, right, I make 2 maps...), and I create some terrain, first in Desert and second in Installation tileset. Please, comment this.

Installation - I think... This sucks. xd

Desert - Some platform on Tar.

Units can walk on those installation tables, can't they? Why didn't you use the standard table on substructure? Questions aside, you can make a slight fix to the two substructure hatch tiles by adding the bottom right tile that completes the circular shape.

The desert platform looks really really cool. :) It is blocky, though. I don't know much about desert, but perhaps others will suggest some improvements.

Both look fine to me. And someone finally got the corners right on desert bridges. Congratulations.

Wow the twilight one is especially nice looking. Even if some stuff is blocky you're great with layouts.

Little mistake, now is good.

FIX THE OVERLORD(the link) cause I wanna see what it looks like; the wraith was so well done! Also, you blended the sprites very well in the twilight picture. I don't know much about desert blending, but it looks very nice. I'm pretty sure I've seen those installation tables on other maps though.

edit: wow fucking incredible lol. Your style is very unique. I like to see blocks sometimes...lol makes it have texture to it

Yeah, the art of blending sprites into terrain squares. You can put a sprite tree over an unwalkable square. I consider placing sprites part of terraining. Don't you use sprites for much more than just covering up impossible to fix blocky areas?

Don't tell me you're somehow good enough that you can always fix blockiness.

Starcraft terrain blending is finding the best tiles that fit together therefor are not blocky. The term "blending" has nothing to do with sprites as they are images that can be put anywhere in the map regardless the terrain tiles. If we'll start using the term blending as covering avoidable blockyness with spites we'll just trow all the hard work of terrain masters in the trash. Therefor let's not lower the terrain quality of SEN to noob level.

No offense really, just stop fighting about such silly things. ;)

I like how, by his typos, you can actually HEAR Mr. Poland speaking with an accent. LOL.

Terrain looks good.
