Im deciding on what series my arena is gonna be if it gets finished though i admit a series where most characters have some similiar moves would be easiest. Personally im leaning either bleach because it has a good variety of characters or naruto because its always good to have the standard shurikens+taijutsu filler attacks XD i think im going to add a naruto/bleach crossover option.

The map will have 12-16 characters aswell as a few random only characters (4-8), it will either be 3v3 with one of each team on the field at one time as alot of arena maps are or 3v3 with the whole team on at once. I've already made a stacked ghost move which i think would work great for multiple characters final move.

Not naruto, bleach a bit more but barely...both is eh.

jaff, ive played a plethora of arena maps people ive known have made consisting of original ideas which ending in lack of being played due to massive narutards being the majority of the starcraft public...

zombie loan is a series about people who've died and made a deal to stay alive with the ferryman of the river styx; they have to hunt down bounties of illegally escaped souls and zombies and whatnot to earn the money they owe to pay off the loan for their lives . they get the grim reaper to finish the souls off, but if they get too close he'll also take um out cuz hes all badass =P. though theres a shortage of characters you could use for figthing, right now i can only think of like 8...

Your smart in accepting the fact that your map won't get popular if you don't base it off an anime. I'd recommend bleach, but it really doesn't matter as long as you do it differently than how it's been done before. I'd like to play an arena where the best thing to do in every situation is run around into you get full chakra(or w/e) and use your 500 battle cruiser spell. naruto maps(and the show) really don't value strategy as much as they should, it's all about being the strongest, which wouldn't be a problem if they were all samurai.... not ninjas.

I baleev he is sayin to not use an idea that has 400 maps of every map genre based on it. Transformers on the other hand has only like what? and madness and a lotrish? A Transformers arena map would be new but they way the transformers story go, the map will probly suck.

Like i yelled before. MORTAL KOMBAAAAAAAAAAT. I am aware their has already been a map based on that series already. That map was old DBZ defiler style though.

true, id love to make a mortal kombat map in the style of touhou act 3(a jap/kor map, its odd because its in japanese but it links to naver at some point so im like.. japanese korean?) ive been told its similiar we are friend, wouldnt know i havent played it. But the thing with that is, massive triggering so much to the point i would get bored and quit very quickly. I was planning on maybe using a system where you had your form of energy be it ki,reiatsu,chakra,etc and some form of fighting spirit/moral/rage that built as you attacked and were attacked, somewhat from skills but moreso from melee promoting people to get down and dirty but also to be weary of when the enemy might strike. though im still not finalized on anything which sorta makes me sad

edit: not adding it to the poll because itll reset current answers but i also think soul eater would make a great arena, lots of unique characters; though alot of characters only have a few being 1-2 signature attacks, id have to use alot of generic *slash/punch/shot*
