Answer honestly, put yourself as if you're in the real situation when you got offered this one in a lifetime opportunity.

What caliber is the pistol? Is any specific type of round being used?

Must I aim at the specific portion of my head that will guarantee death or can I choose what part of my head I put the gun against?

Where does this take place? Will medical personnel be standing by? Is a hospital nearby? Do I get to choose where this takes place?

Because really, if I can turn a 10% chance of death into a 10% chance of a painful few weeks in a hospital, I would probably do it.

Eh, if I only get one shot at life I'm not getting a chance at ending it with some crappy game of chance. Heck, ten million isn't even a totally rich life these days, and if shit works out, my degree in applied math might be worth that much if I work it for a good 20 years and get some seriously good luck. Probably not a 90% chance of becoming rich, but it beats a 10% chance of dying. If there's a chance at ruining what could be a perfectly good life, then I won't take it. If the risk was comparable to the reward, then maybe.

No because i could never be certain i am going to win something. Once dead i'd of lost nothing because i'd cease to exist. However it's not just me i have to worry about. It's also the lives i take part in.

Kind of depends on what kind of time I'd been having recently. If I was valuing my life highly at the time, I might not. But sometimes, if that opportunity were to present itself, I'd go for it.

You take a chance at your life everyday by getting up in the morning. Not necessarily the actions of yourself but the actions of others can affect your life. (IE: A drunk driver crashing into your vehicle) Why not acquire some money for it?
