We can't explain the universe, just describe it; and we don't know whether our theories are true, we just know they're not wrong. >Harald Lesch

Then he would be lame to give the solution away.

You have eight different donuts, and a scale. All of the donuts happens to be the same weight, except for one, which is slightly heavier. Using only the donuts and the scale, what is the minimum weighings that you need to determine the heaviest donut?
None.

I know that one too.
I'm pretty sure the answer is two.
Start by putting 3 on each side, leaving out two. If the scales are equal, it's one of the two. If they're not equal, it's one of the three of the heavier side.
If it's the two: put them on the scale, see which is heavier.
If it's one of the threes: put two on the scale, if they're equal it's the one you left out, if it's not equal, it's the heavier one.
There was a very similar puzzle posted earlier in the thread.

Yep. I just wonder why 8 and not 9.
The Ball-Puzzle
You've got 9 balls and a scale ( * )
one of the 9 balls weight more than the others
You are only allowed to use the scale two times
How can you find out which one is the more-weighting ball?
* it's a scale where are 2 sides where you are allowed to put balls on... picture:
Devourer already did that puzzle gero. And I got it right.

Alright, before this topic dies, here's another riddle, although not a very hard one:
You have the misfortune to own an unreliable clock. This one loses exactly 24 minutes every hour. It is now showing 3:00am and you know that is was correct at midnight, when you set it. The clock stopped 1 hour ago, what is the correct time now?
Have fun!
For the one who likes puzzles AND starcraft, well, you should check out this:

I got it:
Real Time = Clock's Time
00:00 = 00:00
01:00 = 00:36
02:00 = 01:12
03:00 = 01:48
04:00 = 02:24
05:00 = 03:00
now + the one hour it already has stopped
05:00 + 01:00 = 06:00
Right answer:
6 o'clock AM I have no good puzzle atm, so someone else post one now, please

Correct.
Here's a new one, this time you don't have to have visited math class:
Which mountain was the highest on eath before the Mount Everest was discovered?
Mount everest? because wether it was discovered or not, still doesn't change the fact that its the biggest...AMIRITE?
None.

As a pizza maker, you need to slice up a whole pizza into eight equal slices. How would you go about this if you can only make three cuts?
None.
HOw do we show this?
w.e first you cut the pizza up and down, then left to right. The third cut goes in between, separating the crust and the cheese and sauce. Its the only way i can think to make it EQUAL slices but they'd be all fux up :C
unless its a trick question... which would explain how you were expecting us to show you without using paint or something.
None.
Easy.
Someone else post a new puzzle, I don't have one right now.
None.

Fatal, you are able to count until 8, yes?

Wrong. You do not need paint to show me, and you do not need to cut horizontally. That's what you do with a cake ;p
Easy.
Someone else post a new puzzle, I don't have one right now.
Wrong. You obviously can't count!
