Falk... I wrote all the code for you. All you have to do is press "Edit" and copy-paste what I've written... Is it that hard?
Lazy ass :P <3

I don't know if these are good enough to submit if I'm able to submit, but here's some of my work:

1) Sort of a jungle scene
2) A mountainous river scene
3) A river scene

First pic is alright (lot of content thar).
Second pic is way too blocky with the dirt/high dirt/ruins relationship.
I'm loving the crumbled bridges in the third pic, but there isn't much else to look at.

First picture has inconsistent doodading (i.e. Doodads are not consistent and some don't match their setting). Also sprite overkill.
Second picture has obvious blocks throughout, although the raised bridge isn't so bad.
Third picture also has obvious blocks and tile inconsistencies. Broken bridges are cool though.

I think the second picture shows your skills the most. The look like mostly sprites and normal terrain with a bit of blending except with sprites covering the blends. Try making great looking terrain without many sprites.

I think I need to step in and show you guys how to make real trees B-)

I'd like to see a burning tree.

Do I win KrayZee?
I hope I do :dontgetit:

BTW that is indeed MY tree :) Similar to howler's tree, but a little different.

Nice lol, I find its just a bunch of disabled bunkers on a tree... the unfortunate part is that the sprite cover up the fire, so if someone plans to make another one try to take away of some of the sprites...

It's still a tree on fire, and for someone who NEVER makes maps, it's the burning bush of Moses, since they have no idea wtf makes it on fire :P

Lawl, I want to point out how true this is. Some of the simplest things I do in mapping make people the most impressed :P

The majority is nice, but there is no transition from the cliffs to high dirt and caves to high dirt at all...

Dec 28 2009, 10:10 pm Jesusfreak Post #596

It's the inside of a building. You aren't supposed to see the high dirt ingame \:\).

I really like the cliff to temple stairs blend.

:payne:

Some in-game pictures would pwn.
I'm suspecting some lil blocks :P
Maybe a bush to hide the blocky tile on the top of the stairs ?

Is this good enough? I put cliffs blended with grass terrain with some doodads thrown in where grass is, not where the blend is :O
I think this deserves a spot :D
1 or 2 blocks though, hard to notice, however.

This is... very very great job!
The only blocks (as you say, it's highly passable) are near trees and on the cliff edges transition ;o

sounds like moisture control is often a pressing concern in your city
