Well, I'm making an entire map in extended so I decided that I'm gonna post all of my little doodads, snippets or SSes here when I make something new.
( user posted image )
This is my newest addition, I did grab a couple doodads from falkoner's terrain compilation, and some of the blends may have stemmed from other pieces I've seen, but the majority was at least put together by myself.

( user posted image )
Two new relatively deblocked areas, they are both connected to the image below, so I'm going out from there.
( user posted image )
Here's my latest attempt at deblockification.
( user posted image )
Interior of the weapons and armor shop
( user posted image )
There's an interior of a magic item shop.
( user posted image )
That's a small close in area, the top of a mountain. The lower area was the site of an abandoned camp that the player reach when they're chasing down enemies.
( user posted image )
I know it's blocky, but it's the best waterfall I could do with mostly terrain. I may or may not use it, but I think it's a pretty damn unique bit, an dif I can get any bit to work better, I will. This took me more than an hour by itself so I don't really want to ditch it.

They all look really cool, but every single one has something in it that is totally blocky, if you can make the whole thing unblocky it improves it a ton, even if you get one part perfect and another part blocky, the blocky part ruins the whole thing, try to remove the blocky parts, especially in the first picture.

Also, I love the interior on the second picture, looks good.

Oh and do me a favor, when your gonna post sceenshots, cut out everything but the picture in paint haha! That could drive me to drink :P

That water fall isn't that great, what i like is how you put those gray tiles there as rocks, i did the same in my first waterfall (which didn't turnout great) but its just too blocky. You need to slow down and try to put things together so they blend before you start doing that stuff.

Yeah, I've been working on cleaning up individual areas. Sprites will remain in places like forests and in places where they add to the effect. The thing with waterfalls is that there isn't a great way to make one, and trust me, I've done my research as well. I'll keep this one nice and updated.

I love the waterfall, I want to see how it looks when you add sprites, but that is definitely the best non-spritified waterfall I have ever seen for jungle.

@Jello, now make twelve in a row and show me ingame sses of all of them... oh wait, there's a -sprite- limit!

I may use sprites in mine, but that'll be my decision, I've almost finished cleaning up one area of blockiness, SSes of that area may come tomorrow or later tonight.

Jello, I've seen all of those except the one with the large explosions at the bottom, none of those even attempted not to use sprites, I have seen some attempts to not use sprites, but this one looks the best.

...
Uhh...
The whole left side is a "block." The entirety of the water/water tile edges is blocky.
It's still better in terms of blockiness than Jabok's... but it also still uses sprites, is smaller, and looks less original.
I know I've seen a decent spriteless waterfall before, but I can't remember anything else about it... extended terrain was only an interest of mine up until I saw someone else doing it.
I am gooey...

Dude.. Look at the fucking bridge.. see the ruin pieces.. even those are blocky.. not to mention the waterfall. I'm not saying its bad though on the other hand, its blocky but good compared to others so whatever.

Yo dude! Lets calm ourselves, no need to swear :D And man you really need to stop talking unless if you start doing some terrain, like for real I think you got nothing. Hmmm? Where's your waterfall eh? Ya so turn around and keep walking :O

I don't know if I can speak for Zell. on this, but...
That's atleast a good part of why I was criticizing your post, not the waterfall. Big difference there. =P
