LOOKS AWESOME! I think that's the most realistic interior i've seen out of anything, even thou it comes at a sprite/unit cost. Still, this is HAWT SECKS!

Wooden's interiors are way better, but this is still very good!

But Wooden's interiors aren't spaceship interiors :P . His are just cavework and arena-type areas.

Mmm... I disagree. WF's are supposed to be natural caves and stuff, but they look too man made. This fits the picture perfectly :)

Lol, they appear that way because of a problem with scmdraft 2 and starcraft that at time=0 considers them to be in up position, meaning that units cannot be preplaced there. Ingame they walk on top of the floor perfectly fine as long as they are created/moved there. They are there in the editor for vision purposes only.

Because they're going through the secret trapdoor to Narnia.

I hate the absolutely retarded movies made for those books. Sorry if I offended anyone.
I don't think anybody could actually use a lot of those interiors in a map though. They run through the unit limit pretty damn fast, and you still have to consider the lag. However, as terrain, it is hawt! :flamer:

I'm going to take a total of three rooms for the intro to my map, the stasis cell room, a bridge/shop/technical room, and an exit ramp room, and hopefully cut the unit count down to 350 or so. That will be the one and only space ship the players get to see as well, but yeah, it will be in a map.

EDIT

275 units for the win

WOW. I really like the temple on the left. It kinda looks like it's leaning over or falling over.

The sword and the faith

All of the blends are in Falk's terrain compilation. The falling temple was already done but i changed it up a little and used some of the other blends to make the rest.
Oh also, my arena map's terrain has extended in it, so i guess that counts:

haha, I was just about to make one, but my ramps sucked :P
I'll also attempt a bridge over a gorge for in a map.

May 28 2008, 10:57 pm stickynote Post #478

A bridge that connects two stacked cliffs? That would be really cool.
EDIT: Inspired by blender's idea, I made a spriteless bridge over a gorge.
