Hey guys, let's discuss who our favorite melee players in the world are. What makes em great and what are their pimpest plays?
Id have to say the best zerg right now is Jaedong since he just won the MSL http://youtube.com/watch?v=mhma-zv_fGQ , the best terran right now is Flash since he just won the Star Invitational http://gsi.gomtv.com/vod/81 and the best toss is obviously Bisu since well...he's rated to be the number one player in the world by Kespa. I still have to give credit to SlayerS_'Boxer' for being the best SC player of all time in my opinion. I think allot of us have seen how amazing his skills are. most of the terran plays in this video are from Boxer. http://youtube.com/watch?v=DA_uqz_Juxc
Anyone agree or disagree with my list? Why or why not?

Grrr... : Oldskool masta of the protoss. He originally inspired me to play sc more than I had in the past.
Testie : Another kickass canadian who is original, plays random and keeps the scene fresh. Even tho he doesnt fare well against the korean pros, hes still the man.

I played [NC]...yellow and lost big time.
i played two or three games with him, he played zerg, then he went random the second game. when he played terran he took two scv's away from the beginning of the game and just scouted with them. it was kinda ridiculous.

i lost the reps.
even if this was an imitation yellow, he had an apm of over 350 and got max supply in a matter of like 15 minutes.

The best player I've played with is probably WhistlerR, Mireille or Eriador.
A "friend" of mine played Volleyball UMS versus ToT)Mondragon once :P

stork is currently better than bisu, overall.
Tho stork always only manages to be the #2 >_<'

I find though that Bisu is a more exiting player to watch over stork. And I find that is the most important factor in choosing my favorite player. It is what keeps the fans coming back for more. That is why I will always <3 SlayerS_'BoxeR' for his insane creativity. Not only does he get the crowd going insane but he also pulls off the win. Maybe not so much now adays but back in the day he was a god.

Savior. Watching him use defilers is like watching god use defilers.

Savior blows now though. His micro has been horrendous especially when it comes to fighting terran. He doesn't have any scourge micro at all like he used to and because of that terrans can easily just go for a bio build with mass science vessels and pwn the crap outa him.

They all have their time of glory. Other than that- Savior just isn't trying hard enough.

Boxer, definitely.

I have basically lost to about anybody in melee, Yenku, Psycho, most of them didn't even want to play a nub like me.

I've been playing Starcraft for years and I'm still crap, but it's alright because I have fun losing (especially if I lose against something really silly like 2 Zealots).
