I personally dont use Vista but i know someone who has it and I wouldnt take it for free, Thats how bad it is. I am happy with Dual Boot XP/Linux

Yeah, no need to rush it. I don't know if there are any problems with Vista, but just like when XP came out I want other people to use it first and when Microsoft updates it quite a bit, then I'll use it =)

Vista is really buggy at the moment, so I wouldn't consider getting it. Just a while back, they fixed a bug that caused your entire PC to freeze up when you [B][I]just paused Windows Media Player[/I][/B], even if it was a high performance model(though they patched it already). Just running Vista(Just the OS) takes 1GB of RAM, and this is with no programs open, just Bill Gates new(and shitty) OS that he made to combat Macs. Just because Macs look pretty and waste processing power doesn't mean Windows has to too. With this and Bill Gates [I]new[/I] policy on pirated/not genuine Windows, Vista is one [I][B]BIG[/B][/I] pain in the ass. Heck, you should see what happens when you don't have a legal copy! Bill Gates made it like this: - Instead of saying: Get Genuine Vista(That didn't work with XP so now Gates is pissed off) - It starts turning things off e.g. One day your internet stops working, a week or so later your anti-virus doesn't work, Windows turns off important functions until your computer crashes - Now you have to reformat your Hard-drive, and get another Windows Serial Number(Or else it'll happen again)
