For the future Ray, check the thread about an hour after you make an update. If there are two people agreeing on a decision just write a new post.

You agree to give up half your share of today's plunder in exchange for stealth training.
"I be findin' ye when yer ready!" Ron chuckles. You take it to mean that he'll probably jump out of the shadows whenever he wants to begin.
Knowing that d'Artagnan won't be training you anymore, you head to your hammock and go to sleep. The next morning, Peavey shows you to your duties as temporary boatswain. A couple of the others resent your promotion, but on the whole, most of the pirates don't seem to mind. In the evening, Peavey and the officers hand out a share of the treasure to each of the pirates, with the officers getting an extra share.
"Aye, that'd be normal," mentions black-bearded Dan. "Who be complaining when there be so much gold to go around?" Jim and William nod in agreement. The average pirate receives several times the pay of an ordinary seaman.
That night, Ron steps out of the shadows and asks for his payment. You hand over half your share and he begins to train you in the ways of stealth. Every night for the next few weeks, Ron will show you how to conceal you body, hide in shadows, and silently creep across creaky floorboards.
A week later, the
Devil's Trident drops anchor at the town of St. Christopher. As the temporary boatswain, you are responsible for purchasing provisions for the ship. Peavey hands you a list of supplies and just enough money to buy them. You follow the rest of the pirates as they disembark and enter the town. Although you gave Ron half your share of treasure, you can still have a good chunk of money left to use as you see fit.
It is now mid-morning. The current plan is for the
Trident to embark the day after tomorrow. The main places of interest in St. Christopher appear to be the general store, the blacksmith, the tailor, the church, and the tavern.
Win by luck, lose by skill.
