Unit count: 1103/1650
Sprite count: 22/250
Location count: 101/255

The map crashes as soon as the briefing (which works fine) finishes and the start button is pressed. To be more direct, if you were to just hit start and skip the briefing, the dialog and ready room would disappear like normal, but you'd be greeted with an error message as opposed to the actual beginning of the mission.

It's a custom campaign designed for 3-player use. It crashes regardless of the number of players. It features custom voicing.

Thanks in advance.

We can't explain the universe, just describe it; and we don't know whether our theories are true, we just know they're not wrong. >Harald Lesch

Are you using a standard map size? e.g. 128x96
If not you have to play one map per session with valid dimensions first and then you can play yours.

Otherwise it's probably a crashing sprite. Remove all sprites for testing.

ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ

Hmm, it doesn't crash for me right after I press start. Instead, it crashes like 30 seconds in (after that cerebrate uses some attack to destroy a terran base). One thing I did notice is that on the minimap, the terrian is distorted. It looks all pixelated and shit.

Also, one minor annoyance about your briefing. The overmind says "cerebrae", but the cerebrate says "cerebrates." I'm pretty sure it's "cerebrates."

The sprites are connected to the doodads, and the size is fine.

Interesting. Oh, and Cerebrae/Cerebrates is like Formulae/Formulas.
As for 'terrian', did you mean Terran or terrain? And where exactly? I've never been able to test the actual map because it's crashed for me.

EDIT: The map was 196x196 as opposed to 192x192. >_> My bad.

ᴄʜᴇᴇsᴇ ɪᴛ!

you can play a map with nonstandard size if you load a map beforehand first. You might still have a problem as demonslayer has mentioned another crash later, so test to see if it still crashes there, then update your original post with the new crash. If everything is fine, then it's solved and we can close it.

It's quite operational now. Go ahead and lock it.
