Hello

So hey everybody,
I need many many facts about blizzard entertainment, how many dollars they earn per month due to WoW, how many they've gotten by sc2 and all that, if this aint possible, I need the amount of dollars (or whatsoever) blizzard earned in 2009/2008/2007... both, the turnover (is that the right word?) and the profit.
I only get small snippets from different websites, not really trustable I guess.

Please report errors in the Staredit.Network forum.

Why?

^ Exactly.

A businesses' income and financial details are very hard to get hold of and in many cases would be regarded as industrial espionage.

Anyway they should provide some information for the shareholders. But I don't think you will find much information about Blizzard Entertainment. You should search for Activision Blizzard or Vivendi.
-> Maybe that helps: http://www.vivendi.com/vivendi/IMG/pdf/Financial_Report_and_Unaudited_Condensed_Financial_Statements_Q1_2009_-_Final.pdf

Bullshit. If the company is public, they are required to disclose information to investors.
Currently held by Activsion, so look here: http://investor.activision.com/annuals.cfm It also says they were held by Vivendi? So check with them.

how many dollars they earn per month due to WoW.
Theoretically at 12 million accounts, they earn at least $155,880,000 and at most $179,880,000. That's assuming all 12 million still pay and play each month.

As others have mentioned, their profits and losses have to be made public. The issue more recently, however, is that Blizzard is bunched together with other Activision assets as well after the merger.
Quote from Activision">http://investing.businessweek.com/research/stocks/snapshot/snapshot.asp?ticker=ATVI:US]Activision Blizzard, Inc. reported unaudited consolidated earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2010. Non-GAAP revenues were $857 million against $755 million for the same period a year ago. For the nine months, the company reported total revenues of $3,019 million, operating income of $865 million, income before income tax expense of $880 million and net income of $651 million or $0.52 per diluted common share against total revenues of $2,722 million, operating income of $406 million, income before income tax expense of $427 million and net income of $399 million or $0.30 per diluted common share for the same period a year ago. Non-GAAP operating income was $470 million and net income of $337 million or $0.27 per diluted share against non-GAAP operating income was $350 million and net income of $278 million or $0.21 per diluted share for the same period a year ago. Non-GAAP revenues were $2,254 million against $2,280 million for the same period a year ago. For the fourth quarter of 2010, the company expects GAAP net revenues of $1.26 billion, and a GAAP loss per share of $0.01. On a non-GAAP basis, the company expects net revenues of $2.2 billion and $0.47 earnings per diluted share for the fourth quarter. For the full year 2010, the company is raising its outlook for GAAP net revenues to $4.28 billion and GAAP earnings per diluted share to $0.51, as compared to its prior GAAP outlook of $4.18 billion in net revenues and $0.49 in earnings per diluted share. On a non-GAAP basis, the company now expects net revenues of $4.45 billion and $0.74 earnings per diluted share, as compared to its prior non-GAAP net revenue outlook of $4.4 billion and $0.72 in earnings per diluted share.
These numbers include "Blizzard" games, but also have to include franchises like Guitar Hero and Call of Duty.

You can examine recent Form 10-Qs and other documents at Activision Blizzard's website (links above). They reported ~$350 million in operating revenue from subscriptions and services in Q3 2010, a large fraction was which was likely from WoW.

Note that although they have 12 million players, many of these are from China, Korea and other asian countries where they do NOT pay $10/month like the US and other western countries do. Over there, they pay by the hour, or by the day etc, and generally it comes out a lot cheaper than $10/month that westerners pay. Then throw in exchange rate etc. This is similar to how SC2 was released in different versions in other non-western countries like Russia.

Different payment forms for different markets, so you can't simply take their reported subscribes and multiply it by $10/month.

I don't know the numbers, but i stumbled upon a table with a bunch of numbers, The main thing that I remember for certain, is that all the money they had saved up would be gone by 9 months into the year, if they made no income during that time. I believe that's what you mean by turnover, right?

None.

Um, pretty sure that's cashflow. turnover refers to revenue, or else it may refer to labor turnover, wherein if labor turnover is 1.3 years, that means most employees only stick around 1.3 years.
