Just wondering if anyone knows or has any opinions on what the best possible computer setup I could get for 1-2 thousand dollars would be... Mainly for gaming. *StarCraft II* <_< >_>
None.
Well the requirements for Starcraft 2 aren't out yet (not that I know of anyways), but it shouldn't require a beast of a machine.

Making your own computer would be best.Start at
www.newegg.com for some goods.

CyberPower PCs are pretty good too and don't cost a whole lot of money to buy. They are always featured in
PCGamer magazine and what not.

The computer I "built" on CyberPower PC is almost twice as much as the one with basically the same components on newegg.

yea vista does suck so dual boot with linux after you get a Brand New Dell Inspiron i currently have one and it has the best dual core cpu,2 gigs of ram,120 gigs of space,GET THE BEST BATTERY,and i have vista home premium, its works just fine and is very very fast.plus thy said maybe even a windows 2000 could play starcraft 2 dont worry guys it doesnt take a maxed out AlienWare Desktop with Quad-Core Technology to not lag on B-net 0_o
o and my latop was $1000 exactly(without tax)

Vista doesn't suck, just accept it.
Build your own computer from Newegg. Of the best deal i could find on a desktop I rebuilt the same computer on Newegg with a graphics card 2 series up, and it knocked off nearly 300 dollars.
