File Description
Great Wizards 1.03

2 teams fight (3 Humans & 1 Computer per team)

A forced in-game briefing of about 30 seconds makes the map very friendly to new players.
The briefing is nice, seriously. It clears the chat and just displays one-liners such as "Learn Spells Here"
(Center View trigger in unison). VERY newbie friendly :)

Each human player has a powerful Wizard. Computers have weak NPC fights and base/defense.
The objective is to destroy an enemy HQ ("Magus Archivum") and keep yours standing.
You choose spells to learn, there are 25 total, organized into 5 "tomes".
Spells are cast by dropping units stored in shuttles (5 tomes, 5 shuttles)

Special thanks to Falkoner (terrain compliation use) and ws-Impeached for extensive testing, clan ws in general for testing & feedback.

I had fun playing this.... online not sure if it was the official version or not, I'll have to check but it's great. Mixes a couple maps I like together well in addition to having quite a few unique ideas.

i had a fast go at this. it looks really interesting and very well presented. maybe you could give me a map presentation online, i would like to see the true potential of your spell system.

There's versions floating around out there that list Life2Death as the author.

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

not the map, the editor

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

Symmetry shouted: NudeRaider Is EUD editor capable of writing shit onto the player's harddrive? That seems like it would be dangerous
yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
