Bioshock, Dead Rising, Mass Effect
I'll look at Bioshock as well, my bro just got it for 360 ;o!
Not many ppl seem to be listening to you, listing off a lot of FPS's.
What about Oblivion?
I mentioned Oblivion in the list, I "beat"(hardly ever ends) it twice D:! Good Game ;o!
I honestly can't believe you say GoW was slow paced (unless campaign, that was kind of slow :S). I've had great moments on XL. Anyway, I've been playing an okay FPS, made by Nexon (people who made MapleStory I believe). It's called Combat Arms, it's totally free and it's got some decent maps, a clan system, a money system (which I kind of hate because you purchase weapons by time (day, 2 days, week, month) and I guess it keeps you playing but it gets aggravating when you get seriously poor lol.
Well, Gears Of war, all "I" did was hide and shoot the monsters. In that sense it was really slow to me. The process of hiding and "waiting" for a turn to attack or running to another wall to get closer and be covered only to wait for another attack. Seemed very repetitive and boring to me D:. I like the rush of just charging in and killing them all, while using crazy stunts/moves on a horde of monsters ;o! I tried combat arms, didn't really like it, the fact its a FPS and a War game, which I mentioned I hate D:! But, thanks for the suggestions.
If you just like space combat in general, I'd try Nexus: The Jupiter Incident.
I'll check it out. Thanks

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl; is a great game. It's a survivalist/horror/rpg/fps. Great graphics, extremely immersive, and it can make you poop your pants at certain parts.
It's a great game though, easily modded, there are tons of mods for it, just a great game.

World in Conflict is a pretty good RTS, unless you like hella macro.

I could never really get into it..

ohohohoohohoho!
play "scary games" like Silent hill or fatal frame. (not so much scary...) or F.E.A.R. is a good one i heard ;D
i love playing those games with the lights all off at night, it really gets you into the game.
None.
Max Payne
Max Payne 2 The Fall of Max Payne
I like the rush of just charging in and killing them all, while using crazy stunts/moves
that is the DEFINITION of these games.

How old is silent hill? it was only made for playstation right?
None.
I think they have something like Silent Hill III for PS2, I'm not sure though.
F.E.A.R. was horrible. Its a tacky Japanese storyline tagged onto an FPS.
Some more obvious games-
Guitar Hero
Need For Speed Underground Black

Hey, so uh, you have some nice games, but some terrible ones up there too. Let me help you with that.
-Savage: Battle for Newerth
MMOFPSRTS. Yes that's right, massively multiplayer first person shooter real time strategy. Savage 2 is out, but Savage 1 is free, and generally considered better. There's no storyline, just awesome multiplayer, where to attack people, you better be moving sideways and attacking their back, or else it will just get blocked.
-Baldur's Gate
There's 4 games here, BG1, Tales of the Sword Coast, BG2, Throne of Bhall. It's a CRPG, based off D&D, and it's got one of the best storylines ever. There's a reason it's got such a high metacritic score. It's also nothing like BG: Dark Alliance if you've played that on a console. You do kind of sit around and tell someone to attack something, and they attack it until it's dead, but there's a lot more to it than that. If you do play this, shoot the frames per second up to 60 rather than the default 30, it makes the game a lot faster. Also, there's an assortment of mods that make the game even more fun, by making the game much harder, or just add more quests.
-Half Life
You didn't list it. What kind of person are you?
"Parliamentary inquiry, Mr. Chairman - do we have to call the Gentleman a gentleman if he's not one?"

Silent hill 4 for ps2. Anyways i said fear for its "scaryness" not for the storyline or i would have suggested it before D:
then again i guess fatal frame would be basicly the same thing but be more rpg then fps.

I saw some videos, all he did was roll and shoot. Doesn't seem like many stunt/moves.
Some more obvious games-
Guitar Hero
Need For Speed Underground Black
I hated guitar hero. The last NFS game I played was NFS Hot Pursuit 2 for gamecube, which was awesome. All the other ones that came after that, I hated D:!

The Matrix online! Ooh, i wanna try that. That has stunts/moves! It's kinda like Gunz, I think.
its hard to think of a game thats face-paced and NOT a fps. Like, Unreal tournament, how could you get bored with that!

Neverwinter Nights. It's a great game with a great storyline, and great online multiplayer, plus it will keep you busy and screaming for months
What's better than screaming at your computer for a month about getting owned by orcs and starting back at the castle?
BEST MMORPG EVER!!!

...GTA?
what about Jaws Unleased? or the Bully?

Well here is what I recommend to waist countless hours on mindless indulgence. It will take some waiting for these, but they shall be fun.
Far Cry 2. <-- Will be fantastic. It shall not be a standard FPS shootan game.
Spore. <-- If you get bored in two hours, go and get some Ritalin, you need help.
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. <-- Looks great. Shiny and looks like hours of fun throwing around people.
Fallout 3 <-- Oblivion in a Apocolyptic world
Now if you want a game now, I suggest,
Galactic Civilizations 2. <-- Make sure you get the expansions if you enjoy it. Greatly add to the gameplay. Infinite hours of replayability here. And space battles, colonization. Fun 4X type gameplay.
Titan Quest. <-- Practically a Diablo clone, but fairly fun with lots of content.
Anyhow thats just my list.

Wow, I had forgotten about Titan Quest. Great game, I second that recommendation.

Ahh thanks everyone. Got into Bioshock and RE series.
