So, what do you plan on studying after highschool? OR what are you currently studying/doing? I know there's tons of things you can do out there so I'm sorry if I left out anything else, but I tried to make a list of what I think would be the more common ones.
Right now, I am studying in engineering. Why? Well let's compare with the other possibilities in my list...
- Yes, I like the sciences, but I felt as though I'd rather apply these principles than to develop or research them.
- Business doesn't really interest me. IMO it's for people who only want easy money in the future
- I find it more rewarding to contribute to the quality of life than contributing to the gaming/nerd world. Besides, competition is high.
- I didn't want to be a noob for life and do computer science.
- Health/Medince seems too routine for me. You basically have to memorize alot of stuff, and frankly that's just not for me.
- Liberal/Fine arts. First I'm not good in anything related to those, and secondly, unless you are the best I think it would be hard to find a job with these degrees
- I am neither a loquacious nor verbal person, so I can't do law. And again, it's not really my type of thing
- Architecture really caught my eye, but it's quite tough to get into (and at the time, my GPA/ranks were terrible in HS). But besides, I'm more of a math and science dude, so I think Civil engineering is a better path for me, they make more money too .
- I can't teach for shit. Education is out.
- I don't really want to deal with people too much, so I didn't want to do Communication
None.
