All players
Neutral brings at least 1 [men] to 'Anywhere'
Give all [men] owned by Neutral at 'Anywhere' to Force 1
Preserve Trigger.

It didnt do anything. for me, when someone left with shuttle and a reaver, it just stood and did nothing.
So is there other one?
OK, I need a trigger working like this.
Ex. I have player 7, as neutral. And since its impossible map, after 1 stage is beaten, certain kind of unit is given to player 1,2,3,4,5,6. [Owned by player 7]
And if player 3 left, and when it goes to other stage, can the specific unit owned by player 7 that is suppose to be given to player 3, to other FORCE 1?

Neutral isn't who you assume it to be. Neutral is not any player that is assigned neutral, but rather Player 12, who owns all the units of humans that leave.

So i should set to player 12 instead of neutral?

When I saw the trigger.
It had
P1 to P11 not P12.
Should I choose
Neutral Players instead of Neutral?

Those two are practically the same thing. P9-P11 or a neutral player is my best bet.

I do stuff and thingies... Try widening and reducing the number of small nooks and crannies to correct the problem.

If a player leaves, his units will be given to P12 who is also known as 'Neutral'.

In scmdraft P12 is Neutral.
-> P12 == Neutral

The mistake in your trigger is that you cannot give untis to a "Force" directly. (That's why your trigger did nothing when fired. SC just ignores the trigger then or tries and always fails. At least it will NEVER work like in your trigger even if the trigger would make sense or you can imagine a way SC should handle that.)
It's strange that you can create units for a Force. But you cannot give units to them. It's really odd, isn't it?

There is another thread a few days ago where I showed that with a test map.

TEH SOLUTION:
So the right trigger would be:

Owner:
-force1
Actions:
-Neutral Brings at least 1 men to anywhere
Conditions:
-give 1 men owned by neutral in anywhere to current player
-preserve trigger

btw, you never need "neutral players". At least I never needed it.

I thought you couldn't give units to forces, only players?

That's exactly what Ahli was saying. His trigger gives a unit to a player (current player). The trigger is just owned by a Force, which means it executes for each consecutive member of that force.

Note also that while you can't GIVE units explicitly to a force, you can CREATE them explicitly for a force, in which case they will create units, x units each for each present player.

Sorry, I just skimmed past.

You're doing right maybe you need to see the trigger and you'll see whats wrong in yours. See the attached map. It distributes p12(neutral) dragoons to players in force1(p1;p2;p3;p4).

it DOES work. Make sure the trigger is owned by the player force.

ᴄʜᴇᴇsᴇ ɪᴛ!

lol, post the map, someone will fix it, and give it to you. Ahli's method works, you're just using the wrong force.

Then compare the trigger you have with the map I attached. You can see it in action and see that it does work.

OK i have same as you but it dont work.

Maybe my other set up for it makes it difference?
here i have one of these
Player
Force 1
Condition
Player 8 has suffered exactly 45 deaths of [any unit]
Action
Display for current player <8> Round 2
Kill All [any unit] for All Players at 'Round 1'
( heres the trigger i think it may have disabled it )
Give All [any unit] owned by Player 7 at 'C2' to Player 8.
Give All [any unit] owned by Player 7 at '2]1' to Player 1.
Give All [any unit] owned by Player 7 at '2]2' to Player 2.
Give All [any unit] owned by Player 7 at '2]3' to Player 3.

and so on it goes till player 6.

it goes to player 6 because of another trigger still being active. your posted trigger wont give untis to p6 and you report that it happened, so there has to be another trigger giving units to p6.

Jun 30 2008, 12:32 am bnbn1382 Post #20

Trigger doesnt work.
It doesnt go to p6, maybe you read it wrong how i wrote it LOL. {bad grammer}
it just stays same, and later it gives it to computer instead DX.
neutral wont give it to any other ones

SOmehow trigger is same but gigins work. but not mine wtf?

Oh_Man -- whereas just "press X to get 50 health back" is pretty mindless

Oh_Man -- because it adds anotherr level of player decision-making where u dont wanna walk too far away from the medic or u lose healing value

Oh_Man -- initially I thought it was weird why is he still using the basic pre-EUD medic healing system, but it's actually genius

With the modern EUD editors, I don't think they're calculating nearly as many offsets as you might imagine. Still some fancy ass work that I'm sure took a ton of effort
