I joined iccup today, I lost a few games, and I'm feeling good about getting back into the game. I'm a D right now but I probably deserve D- Anyone else play iccup?

I used to, then something about not having an anti-hack wouldn't let me in, i pretty much felt lazy and never went back. Oh yeah and I remember having a team, but that didn't work out so well.

i remember this, it seemed really complicated tho (then again i guess im too simple) can u give link? too lazy to google. maybe somone should start a sen team? o.O

You just download the client, download the maps and melee for position on the ladder. Not really complicated

I think they are going out of their way to make it harder for people that don't know what to do, because there isn't even a single 'geting started' page or link or walk through to get you to start playing. They just have a files section with brief descriptions.

Don't practice against an AI, just keep playing on iccup. Its better to learn against players better than you so you can watch the replay and see how they won (its never as simple as 'omfg i got raped')

You know, if only to be better at mod nights i might start getting into melee again. But ICCUP needs to pick some better maps IMO. A map getting in simply because Rose/Bill/whoever made it is bullshit, and ive already seen it happen this season. Luckily theyve smartened up to a point and have gotten Faoi from BWMN.

BWMN doesn't make league maps. Also I play ICCup. Occasionally.. from time to time. OH yeah, if you guys really want to seriously play melee, read the tutorials on SEN. They should help. My name on ICCup is kSa.DaZed
