I'd go for a unit with a pretty much invisible attack(DT, anyone?) remember that many units can be cloaked, so I think your best bet would be a cloaked zergling, but you may have problems with unit placement if the player can go near walls, so perhaps a cloaked wraith is your best bet.
None.

you can run away from dts easily, as you can with zerglings (some units can at least). Wraiths will give a fairly constant attack, virtually no sprite, and can travel anywhere. It almost looks like the area is sapping the unit's life.
Nukes kill everything too fast and do too much damage.
"Parliamentary inquiry, Mr. Chairman - do we have to call the Gentleman a gentleman if he's not one?"
id say go for a cloaked hero guardian (disable enable thing)... 1) the attack loox kinda like poison (its green) 2) the sound iz kinda ominous, or moreso than a wraith attack lol and 3) uhm... guardians are bada§§? o and hero guardian instead of normal cuz hero guards have crazy long range and they move faster
hmmm, or maybe cloaked hero muta? since mutas attack multiple targets at once o.0
just... as an alternative 2 the wraith thing i mean...
None.
Hero guards have same range and speed as normal guards. Nice part about the wraith is that you can focus attack on one person if there are multiple people, and it's hard to outrun. If guards can span the entire location though, that might be better.

What if while going through the area, a unit attacks, and while going through the other area, a medic pops up, heals for a split second, allowing you to gain hp, but then it disappears, so you get HP in intervals.
None.
Scarab Idea wasn't too bad? Set Scarab damage to 1, then if a unit enters the area create a scarab at the unit every second or so. With the cloaked wriath and stuff you'd need to place a bunch of different locations to keep them covering the entire area, but with created scarabs you can control the damage and the location without wasting locations holding wriaths in place.
None.
You cannot create scarabs because they cannot be placed with StarEdit. You could create a reaver somewhere else, make it attack a target and then move the scarabs, but then you wouldn't be able to control when/where they explode. So unless you create the reaver itself near that area, the idea is not that good.
?????
You can't create scarabs because they can't be created in starcraft, not because of staredit.
Anyway, scarab D worked fairly well. I've never bothered with scarabs, but from what I understand, it's easy to move and order them around, but they do have a limited lifetime.

SC checks if the unit can be placed in StarEdit. If it cannot refuses to create it. So yeah, you can't create them because they cannot be placed on staredit.
?????
Why can you create a Torrasque for Player 1 Red Terran but not place one? I'm only arguing with your poor wording, however.
"Parliamentary inquiry, Mr. Chairman - do we have to call the Gentleman a gentleman if he's not one?"
Maybe because Torrasques can be placed in StarEdit?
?????
Try to place a Torrasque and a marine for a player in Staredit...

I'm not going to continue arguing over something that everybody should already know by now. You can ask anyone else, you'll get the same answer.
?????
rockz, it's as long as it is somehow placeable in SE, not if it's possible to do so under one player.
None.
