I've been messing around with making extra tall buildings because they are just too awesome not to include in my map.
Here are some things I have come up with (images are too big for forum, just click on them):
2 Story Bland building - crappy
http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=2nkutjd&s=3
2 Story Exciting Building - Bad
http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=eu56x1&s=3
2 Story Lit Building - Decent
http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=mms8dw&s=3
3 Story Building with Pillars - Awesome but Not all that great
http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=2r7vc48&s=3

Now none of mine are very good at all, so I was wondering if there were any forum topics or anything already that discussed tall structure buildings? Also are there any cool ideas that have to do with buildings in Badlands? Just anything to make my map cooler would be great, thanx!

Just here for the pie

If you haven't noticed, buildings have been being made for a long time. . .Yours are bland in contrast to some of the more unique and more well blended ones. Just check topics that are a few pages back.

Wow thanks that's EXACTLY what I was looking for! That building under construction is amazing! Someone spent a lot of time experimenting :lol: Thanks!

Any other photos of good buildings would be much appreciated.

Actually, no, only two use sprites, and those ones are just extra things he doesn't need. I think you are pretty much doing the buildings right, I'll attach two maps with some good blends:

[attach=1056]
[attach=1057]

Both from my next version of my terrain compilation :)

You try to make it otherwise, he did all that was possible without using sprites.

Wow! That pretty much closes the thread right there. I would say if anyone else has anything, then post, but... damn. Well I'll say it anyway. Also anything buildingish with sprites is welcome.

Experimenting wtf? A lot of time? I just made the first concept for that and Rory felt he could improve it.
