Hi SEN,
can you help me find the name of a cool game I used to play 10-15 years ago?
It was set in a post apocalyptic world where humans destroyed the surface of earth and thus had to flee underwater to avoid radiation. If you went too close to the surface you started getting radiation warning and were eventually killed.
You were playing a freelancer (IIRC) who's driving a futuristic submarine equipped with weapons.
IIRC there were 2 weapon types. Something like a laser or machine gun and torpedoes.
You started on underwater bases and looked for jobs, I just remember one type of job was escort and you usually had to fend off multiple bogeys.
The money you earned you could spend for better weapons and subs.
Basically it played like a space shooter which were so popular at that time but was set under water.
Lol, that sounds like a game like pod, but pod was a racing game to get to the last escape shuttle off earth.
Have you tried looking for it on abandonware websites like abandonia?

No.
Yes.
Btw. it's a pc game. Don't think it was released on other platforms.

Almost Oh_Man, almost. Still worth 50 Minerals. Enjoy.
I meant Archimedean Dynasty which is the predecessor of AquaNox.
Fun fact (which I didn't know up until now): In German the game is named "Schleichfahrt" which means "silent run". Completely different from the English title.
Man I don't know why but today images from when I were playing this game flashed into my head and now I need to play it again. One of the coolest games of it's time. For some reason I never realized AquaNox is the sequel. Gotta play that too afterwards.
EDIT: The reviews for the sequels are rather meh. So I guess I'll try them but not finish... we'll see.

Lol cheers for mins, I saw in wikipedia "Archimedean Dynasty" so I included the wiki link just in case.
I'm the opposite I've played Aquanox yet never played "Archimedean Dynasty". When I'm back at The Farm maybe I'll take a picture of the box and show it here.
It's funny the "English" title is actually Latin. Aqua for water and Nox for night. "Water-night".
