I'd like to use the "Send All Units on Random Suicide Missions" script, a little confused as to how it works.
If I use this with a location what does it specify?
I thought this worked with a location but the computer player totally ignored the location in my tests...

Is it A) Send All units "HERE" and attack random units
or B) Send All unit from "HERE" to attack anywhere randomly
or C) Send All unit anywhere to attack anywhere randomly

also I've noticed that the random suicide will just cause the units to engage any closest enemy unit possible without taking into account their rank. which is awesome if you want to have them attack a wall of spider mines over tanks for example.

but yea... if someone knows a place I can read up on AI scripts in depth please tell me.

Thanks.

after some testing it seems to be option 'C'
They simply attack the closest units.

Yes. Send Units on Random Suicide Missions does NOT take a location argument.

Check it out in the original StarEdit -- it's actually a "RUN AI SCRIPT" action, it's not listed under "RUN AI SCRIPT AT LOCATION".

Same thing with Strategic Suicide Missions.

Here's what it says in the official Starcraft Campaign Editor Help:

Quote
Send all Units on Strategic Suicide Missions – All computer units will mass and attack one target at a time until all enemy structures and units are dead.
Send all Units on Random Suicide Missions – All computer units will choose random targets and attack anything that they see.

The Help library that comes with the original StarEdit has some good basic information for this kind of stuff.

As for Campaign and Custom Melee AI scripts, here's an interesting read (although the numbers are probably a little outdated): http://www.battle.net/scc/faq/aiscripts.shtml

Yeah, SCM Draft is a bit screwy, it's AI's aren't organized, SI just put all of them in both categories.
