Yeah, that. Getting 102 points for "QUIT" is ridiculous, not to mention I pulled off a "In[t]erject" before for over 250 points. Scrabble's distribution was much better (encouraged word-laddering towards the corner and strategic planning of tile placing), and did not reward you this much for knowing short 4-letter words with an expensive tile.

None.

wth is starcraft

Has anyone noticed the point distribution system is flawed? A friend played "FROZE" and got 111 pts, but when I added an N to make "FROZEN" I only got 19. :c

They hit what sounds like a triple word and another multiplier, which is only used once. Aside from that, stop trollin, some people might think you really dunno rules.

Multipliers are only used one the initial put-down. That has been the rule in scrabble forever.

Also my friend claims
Quote
1672 points by spelling the word 'oxyphenbutazone' .......in words with friends, oh my lerrrd

First, thank you for butchering not only my color, but the capitalization of my name. Second, thank you for not only repeating what I said, but what Kame said as well. Was your post supposed to have anything significant other than the anecdote you put at the end?

Jan 16 2012, 5:52 pm TiKels Post #28

The color was accidental. The capitalization was just to see if it actually changed it when it displayed.

This is what I saw. The way you phrased it seemed kinda meh, so I rewrote it. Kame made it seem like she still didn't get it.

That's what I mean. :P I've never played scrabble with the modifiers only counting once. GUESS I'M A CASUAL.

The word "Fetes" is possibly the weirdest word. If you think I played that because I thought it was good, I've played a word scoring over 100 points before.
