you need staredit.mpq or something like that to work SCMDraft.. so yeah you need sc installed to make a map

I do! :) Looking forward to see what you make. You'll have to install SC though, otherwise SCMDraft2 won't work. Just torrent it if you're missing the CD :P

Since I've only just gotten back, I hardly have any WAVs at all. Could someone post some good WAVs that might come in handy? Like "transmission" sounds and "drink potion" sounds. I really don't want to use the StarCraft "Transmission" sound everytime someone says something in my game. :><: it would sound like somones messaging you all the time xD

The transmission.wav that starcraft uses isn't bad. It's very subtle. I think you're thinking of combeep0.wav or w/e. That's the really loud one that can get annoying. Try the actual wav named transmission.wav; it's not bad. :)

I has decided that I might enter the contest after all.

There's no telling if I'll finish my current project before the deadline (or if I finish it at all, which is unlikely in and of itself), but should I finish, I will gladly enter :).

I'll try and keep you guys updated on my progress. I'm trying to make this simpler than my previous projects so I don't go overboard, confuse myself, and get depressed again. So far I have a good chunk of terrain, the first few triggers, and far too many ideas :).

With the modern EUD editors, I don't think they're calculating nearly as many offsets as you might imagine. Still some fancy ass work that I'm sure took a ton of effort
