So... I'm making an RPG, and my player 8 computer, of whom represents all the towns as well as the kill counter fo the kills-to-cash system always seems to be doing stuff -_-
First off, it's constantly flying its shuttles around, picking up units, placing them back.... the units picked up also respond by doing things such as unburrowing. How do I make them stop?
None.

remove the ai (or choose one which is more passive)
I do stuff and thingies... Try widening and reducing the number of small nooks and crannies to correct the problem.
if he should be totally idle (doing nothing by himself, does not attack sth.) -> set the player to 'neutral' in player settings.
his triggers will still fire.
Ok, I tried setting it on Neutral and it fixed the problem, but another problem arose... i can't change the ally status to enemy. I need it to attack another computer (as it is my kill-to-cash computer). Do I need to use another computer in this case?
None.
Dont set to neutral, just dont give it an AI script at all. D:

wasn't the problem "about" the AI script???
None.
It originally had no AI set. It did, however, had alliances set. Without any fighting, the computer still moves units around, with fighting, it'd send assisting units such as medics and such.
None.
Thats good isnt it? If you really dont want that happening, prevent the comp from building dropships.

the thing is it has 3 shuttles >_< they pose as "ships"
None.
What do you want the shuttles to do? Just sit there?
None.
Then just make the shuttles for a neutral player of the same color.
None.
lol you cant make 2 players the same color -.-
None.
Yes you can, just change their color with either the number, or SCM Draft can easily do it.
And I'd say if he just wants them to sit still, use the constant teleporting outside the map to do it, instead of wasting a computer.
None.
They're usually just sitting there, but I would later need to use them for transportation purposes... they're "ships" on a big lake in the middle of the map. I was thinking I could use a few locations and make them just patrol back and forth from one dock to the other, then, when players want to use the ships, it would just create a separate shuttle and get commanded to fly over to the other side.
None.
just make the shuttles patrol, and when the player "boards" the shuttle, move the units to a temporary location, then move them back after he shuttle reaches the other side. Or do you want the players to control the shuttles themselves?
None.

Just give the units to P12. Color is retained.

No, it would be an automatic movement, not player controlled. I guess it would be as you said, move units to the side until the ships "arrive".
Is that what the computer does when it has transportation units, move things around?
None.
Well, it's annoying using a computer with dropships, as they have a tendency to exit any units from idle dropships...
None.
I see, so I'll just seak an alternative as to represent player units being ferried over the lake. On a side note, if I remember right, constant centerview at a location that is also constantly following a unit makes the screen jump from one to the other, instead of follow it smoothly, no? Are there any good ways to make the screen move smoothly, following a moving object?
None.
