I use twitter a lot. Actually, I have two Twitter feeds, and the way it looks I might get a third for a private project. I do like using it, I find people who post on it relevant, and it is a fun way to network with other people with similar interests. Recently, they changed their layout. First, they have this 'frame' thing at the top, which is annoying. I hated that about web 1.0; there were frames everywhere, and now Facebook and Twitter have all these boxes everywhere with 'useful information' that I'll never use, and no way to get rid of it.
Another problem with the new twitter is that I type too fast for it. A matter of fact, it will drop words or letters, as I will be 'done' writing a sentence when the program still has to write down the last three words. That is beyond annoying. The worst part? I switched back to old Twitter and there's an obnoxious frame at the top saying that it won't be in use for much longer. Is it so hard to fix a problem before phasing out the old system?
Right now I use TweetDeck and it runs smoother than Twitter does in the browser. But I can't find people to watch by using it alone (unless I'm a n00b, which is possible). On top of this, it is really a pain to have yet another program running to update once or twice. Sometimes while I'm working, I'll be updating several more times than that, but that's usually for good reason.
Anyways...anyone else annoyed by this?

Try a different browser, I don't lose characters and I type pretty quickly.
None.
I've been thinking of switching to Chrome. Firefox is so bogged down anymore.

I've never lost any characters in forms, honestly. If a browser is fucking up like that, it's a horrible browser.
None.
I switched to Chrome maybe about a year ago. It's much superior.
None.
Just here for the activity... well not really
heh, hardly anyone actually tweets using twitter.com.

I've found that MSN comments can achieve this effect sometimes. Not joking. Though the size of the comment might not be to your liking, obviously.

Twitter was down today! If only I had some short, shallow way to express my rage!
But seriously, who uses Twitter?
