Removed a sql sleep command from magic boxes. Not sure if this breaks the boxes, but in no way should a sleep command be running every time anyone does as much as views magic boxes.
Updated the shoutbox, removing old channel code. Also flushed the table, I saved the shouts though, so I can always put them back when this mess is over.

Uh. Is this why SEN is going off and on? I don't know how to computer and I don't understand.

^ I doubt it's the biggest issue, but it probably wasn't helping.

Relatively ancient and inactive
(10:53:43 PM) Kevin: is SEN dead for you
(11:03:22 PM) Andrew: mostly
(11:03:51 PM) Kevin: do you get redirected to your isp's search
(11:04:00 PM) Andrew: yeah
(11:04:01 PM) Andrew: ooh
(11:04:06 PM) Andrew: I thought you meant... emotionally or something
(11:04:16 PM) Kevin: LOL
At least IP's back.. though, of all the code to be looking through, why the gaming code?
None.
Because I was looking at the mysql processes and sleep processes kept popping up. So I just did a search for it.
Wasn't looking in the gaming files specifically.
And it obviously didn't fix the problem, but sen seems a bit more responsive for me.

If I open up five topics, I still get two or three tabs returning SQL errors. This never happened a few months ago.

The past 3 times I've posted in topics, SEN has disappeared for me. I don't know if something is tied to that or if it is just shitty luck.
Hopefully this one posts.
Currently Working On: My Overwatch addiction.
Yeah, wasn't the biggest factor. I'll keep looking though.

It is totally random for myself. I keep retrying to access SEN when it doesn't want to load. Google Chrome tells me that the website couldn't be found / it is an invalid address.
Most frustrating. Hope you fix it soon!

Start disabling site features until it stops, then re-enable until you've found it exactly.

Gotta agree with this, in general. If your computer stops working and you suspect hardware failure, unplug hardware pieces 1 by 1 until you find which piece was causing the malfunction (eg, Ram, Graphics Card, PSU, etc...)...
The way I see it, the site never had this problem before (maybe started a week ago? maybe less?), so something has changed in this time and now we see the problem occurring.
None.
Was anyone working on the site a week ago? :3
I thought dev left.

I believe they refer to this process as "troubleshooting"
I think most people would agree with it.
Apparently farty, deviln, dtbk, dev all have full access to the server. So if anyone changed anything, IM me to let me know where I should look.

Disabled guests from using the forum search script. Google was running a lot of pointless searches (I assume it is google anyways). Ideally, only bots wouldn't be able to search, but it's quick and dirty to make it all non-members for now.
I also changed the table's storage engine for forum posts, though it seems to be for the worse.

At the very least, SEN is epic fast atm.
EDIT: While you're at it, you may want to look at
http://www.staredit.net/sc2mapnight/Mostly because I'm asking for these fixes:
- Add time stamps!
- Reset the current DB so people can fix their name (for e.g., I am "payne.payne" while I should be "payne.630").
- I've heard it was asking for a "Password" as the second entry. It should definitely be labeled as "B.net ID" instead.
... but also because its appearance on the site kind of matches the SQL Errors' starting date?

The password it a sen specific pass for that bnet id. Like you can't use my bnet ID in the channel without the proper pass :3
Another update: played with the forum post/topic tables some. I see a huge performance increase with this last update.

Might just be me, but I've always felt SEN to be super speedy. This was one of the main reasons i became active in here - comparing forum/thread load times with SC2Mapster and Hiveworkshop - SEN has always been quicker (for me atleast :s) don't know how correct that statement is but meh
