All I see is low TSR bads making excuses for why their TSR is low. Just accept the fact you guys have less skill than the average player. And playing support is no excuse for having such a shitty TSR, because it takes into account many stats that support players should excel at.

Definitely, your mod's formula is better than an ELO based system which takes into account the sole thing that matters for all the reasons you've given.

I never said TSR is perfect. My point is that you and hydro are 1650+. If you say PSR is so good that means that you guys must win, and win against competent players, yes? Well TSR measures the statistics you've gained as you've made your way to 1650+ PSR and it says that both of you have below average stats. And the only way one can possibly get 1650+ and have below average stats is if they've been carried or have been lucky.

So yea, you can point out the flaws in TSR, but there are also flaws in PSR. But neither matter, because in your case the use of PSR and TSR show that your PSR doesn't really reflect your skill level.

Anyway, it's not even news to any of us that you're both scrubs, it's just now we have more statistical evidence to back it up. Of course both of you will make excuses, because part of being a scrub is not realizing you are one.

Too bad this formula didn't exist in beta, because I'd totally like to see how I measured up. But knowing devilesk, he'd just call me a scrub. I wonder if the TSR of 20-0 devilesk would have been high.

If you seriously think easily abused stats better reflect the ability of a player to win than the skill of players who he's beaten, I'm not going to dissuade that viewpoint. Think what you'd like and keep playing those 1300 games, you'll show us all how good you are. =)

HoN is a team game. Your 1650 PSR shows you've beaten skilled opponents (or noobs who were carried to 1650 like yourself) and your TSR shows that in gaining that 1650 PSR you've been getting carried by your teammates or you've been getting lucky with who you've been playing, probably a combination of both, because a below average player cannot win games on his own.

Also, I'll keep playing those 1300 games because they're fun. I've already proven myself as a great player, but now I'm going to play what's fun for me.

Hmmm, that's reasonable (faz). I noticed I play better than the majority of 5s I see, probably because I play "bp/bd/sd 1500/1550+" a lot, and that those 5s and such are just stompers.

Dark Seer and KotL are just such gay support on the tier of HB. Disregard I sucked shit with both of them.
Furion is awesome though. Honestly, what role does/can he play though? I always thought ganker/roamer and semi-carry/carry, like VS (Andro). The latter, probably because that's all I knew how to play as him, APEM lolololol. Looking at his skillset, he looks like he can be played as roamer, ganker, pusher, and clean-up semi-carry, by which I mean if he manages to somehow acquire a large amount of kills, especially with his ult, he could probably acquire the right items to do some heavy damage or disabling. But more so a janitor than a semi-carry, considering his lack of carry-type abilities. Still, all Valk has is that one Leap and a good attack animation.

I bet a LVL2 Furion (Treants, Tree Lock) + stun could destroy a low HP Hero in a few seconds. I bet Furion and Pyromancer would make for one Hell of a lane. Or Hammerstorm and Furion. Or Tort and Furion. Wow, Tort/Furion would be a pain in the ass to deal with, between ranged harass, locks, and stuns.

I want to play in a competition and win/place something honourable. GLORY FOR THE EMPEROR.

So is there anyone actually fucking decent at HoN in SEN besides IP, devilesk, Ultimo/Neki, and myself? Furthermore, when the Hell is Neki going to get his actual account? If funds are lacking, I'll get a fucking part-time job or some shit and pay for it myself, seriously.

I feel as though IP and I (maybe Neki, FaZ) are the only ones even slightly willing to play at least in the 1650+ range. Devilesk just wants to stomp and have fun (not allowed), dunno what ETEFT's view of it is, and SnoZz isn't even a part of SEN (I don't think). Ex just wants to dick around with his friends and his club house mates a.k.a. fuckbuddies clan, and FaZ likes to play solo Tempest, which pretty much leaves nobody. I guess.

Hell burn it, we really need Neki to get a paid account and I guess Ex to stop being a prick. Then devilesk naturally follows with Neki (which we can add cute/whorebeast to the mix to replace Ex since he probably thinks he's better than SEN). We can shift kount and snozz in, I s'pose.

And I need a new microphone. Damnation.

Why does it seem like the last 3 or 4 pages of this has turned into a bitchfest I.E. one person complaining after another, interspersed with actual HoN discussion?

I dunno, I like playing tough matches, and depending on how much i've been playing, I can play pretty well. The only problem is that I just dont have that much time to play.

I think it has something to do with how HoN is worth our time and passion, being a competitive game and all. By that I mean it's worth getting mad about.

Stomping is where it's at. Me, IP, and cute have been EM noob stomping for weeks now and it's been great. I don't even miss Neki anymore. He's dead to me and if he ever came back he'd probably suck shit anyway. I could play competitive if I wanted to, since I'm the best, but you guys are too bad and it's not worth it.

Also, SnoZz is trash and all those other people you play with are trash, Hydro.

Right now, the best SEN team is probably me, IP, cute, kount, and sadly FaZ/Hydro/Neki. That last spot is very weak.

Actually, who even cares about SEN players anymore? Me and IP are doing great in our clan BADS, we have jill and her friend Livskis and also kirbyruled who is better than all of you combined.

So yea, the team I'd rather play with is not the SEN team, but the team of me, IP, cute, livskis, kirbyruled.

Hey I'll join BADS if you guys start playing competitivley like... Scrimming daily, practice nights, involved in tournaments in leagues, things like that. I'll start playing everyday atleast 3-7 hours, ok? So let me know if you guys are serious about that...
