triggers with scarabs and reavers

okay, so what im trying to do is basicly set up a type of machine gun useing scarabs. so, when a unit gets to a location A, a reaver spawns a location B, shoots a scarab at the unit, the reaver dissapears, another reaver spawns, shoots, and it keeps going on like that until there are no units at location A for the reaver to shoot at. Im useing hyper triggers cause i want the shooting action to happen really fast. How would i trigger this?

oh i also have one more question. its not related to this topic, but i think ill ask it on here anyway so i wont waste space by createing a new topic.
Say i have about 50 zerglings, but i want to make 1 small location that can detect all 50 zerglings. So say that i have a marine, and if it touches a ling then the marine will die. I know its easier just to create a location for the marine, but thats not wat im asking (stateing this to avoid unhelpful answers) oh, and how many triggers are allowed onto one map? iv been working on a map for about 4 months, it has 8500 triggers. thanks for the help guys!

Create the reaver with 1 scarab, order it to patrol and when you detect 0 scarabs on the reaver remove it. Rinse and repeat. Isn't very fast though as reavers need some time to acquire a target and actually shoot.
Maybe it's better to use stacked cloaked wraiths for that effect. Or just a floor gun trap. ^^

You'd need to cycle through the lings, but that has several drawbacks which can be partially countered.
You center on the ling, and give the ling to another player. Then you check if the marine is in the location. When no lings are left, give all lings back to the original player. Rinse and repeat.
You could use a computer player that has the same alliances and color as the original player to give the lings to, the player won't notice.

Trigger limit is at 64k triggers if people will save your map and continue later. Otherwise there's no limit.
The process would take over 6 game seconds to scan through all the lings. So you may want to make more copies of the trigger to speed it up. But keep in mind that when you give a unit it deselects and cancels attacks.

okay thanks! How would you detect when the reaver has 0 scarabs though?

None.

ᴄʜᴇᴇsᴇ ɪᴛ!

bring 0 scarabs to the reaver's location, so long as it is smaller than the reaver. Take a look at DDS stuff (search for it). Also here:
