I made a new smiley. Can it be added to SEN?
Here's the photoshop file too if it needs to be edited or someone wants to improve it or something.

I love it so much. Just make the background transparent.

Great job! Make it transparent, nuke some of that horrible dithering so that the details are clearer, and it'll be perfect.

What the difference between that and

You need to cut out the crap smilies, not introduce crappy new ones.

The difference is I took that smiley and warped it and changed a few other things so that it's now a smiley version of

This smiley is more epic than crap like
It actually has meaning behind it.
Also, I don't see anything wrong with adding more smileys, even if you aren't going to use it I'm sure others will. The more options the better.

Yes, cut out all those crap smilies. And don't introduce this one, because one thing we definitely don't want on SEN is a troll smilie.
The more options the better? Why would you want to see people with eggs and mudkips in their posts? Where would you seriously use a troll smilie?
None.
I put eggs in all my posts.
I love my eggs.
I'm all for it. Nothing wrong with more smilies.

Smilies are there to express emotions. You should cut all smilies, no matter how amusing, that don't express emotions. Everything from
to
.
Or you can keep piling on crappy smilies that are used for nothing but spam.

I think my smiley expresses a whole bunch of emotions.

I disagree. I'm outta here. I never got anything done for my ideas by arguing for them.

They aren't really doing any damage are they?
If anything, it makes the members feel like they can contribute to the site, and have it recognized. I've never heard of a site that makes smileys for members. And I honestly think Devilesk's smiley he picked suits him
Hmm, I do agree though that smileys that
can't be used to express an emotion are quite pointless, mainly

I don't see much of a problem. If someone is going to use a smiley, they are going to use it. We already have so many in the library that I don't think that adding will increase the frequency in which some people would use them.
When you see a post look like this we have a problem.

If you disagree so much then simply don't use them. I do not see how they managed to offend you; smileys exist to produce amusement. Lack of smilies = a proportional decrease in potentially produced amusement.
I say we add it for the lulz.

This smiley could express a lot of emotions. Mischievous desires; obnoxious cleverness; smartassery; any emotion associated with trolling.
As for , that emote is just epic. I'll have to start using it in the macabre greetings I've been giving to newbies in Introductions.
I do agree that we have a lot of fail and/or redundant emotes, though. I hereby nominate these for deletion and/or revamping with the powers I don't have on the wiki that this site is not:
Hopefully by listing these I'm not violating the smiley limit rule.

I'm with DTBK. I'm not gonna add a smiley that I'd have to squint to see.
And what is it supposed to represent? :troll: or something? I hope not.

I agree. Hard to see. 20/40 or whatever my eyesight is now (I think it's gotten worse since last checkup) gives me problems making out small details like that.
There are quite a lot of useless/meme smileys that we probably should cut out... but then again, they take up so little room and it seems so easy to add and subtract them, that why bother? I mean, if they became a huge drain on SEN's resources, sure, but they'll get used every blue moon or so.
