I order you to forgive yourself!

I loved that game.

Something that could be fun to add would be obstacles (Moving objects). Different terrain layout (Cross, circle, grid and so on).

if u want the game to last long u could add more hellions for kills or something, plus i think u should rotate the view and the play area so it matches the terrain texture and then u could move up and down and left and right along the grid

Something for all games that extends gameplay time immensely is different game modes...

Some Suggestions Are...
Classic/1 Life mode - the game you have
Spells Mode - Each hellion has special spells - http://www.staredit.net/files/2084/ Worms an arena that is like tron, should help you SC1 only though
P1 Mode - Computers Versus (might take a while so this not recommended until later when you've mastered triggers)
Speed Mode - Faster Game
Rush Mode - Time limit with most kills win
Life Mode - A Limited amount of life's

Relatively ancient and inactive

I recommend creating a few environments for the game. Same layout, but rotate tilesets, change lighting, etc (randomized) to keep it from getting too stale and increase replayability. The more, the better.

Hello

Man! Awesome! Although, I would prefer a normal line instead of a dotted one.

Please report errors in the Staredit.Network forum.

I do stuff and thingies... Try widening and reducing the number of small nooks and crannies to correct the problem.

I know a game that the brother of a very old friend made.
It was like Tron as what I know now (I never played the original Tron).
There were a few items that e.g. swapped the contols, a bomb, points (game was based on a score). Maybe you can add something like that, too.

I guess I will remake that game one day. (I've tried in SCBW and the bnet delay made it impossible to play. sc2 bnet seems more responsive.).

I originally had the solid line, but I spaced out the time that the little boxes spawned. Just think, 4 players with a unit spawning for each player every .05 seconds. That's already 800 units on the field if each player manages to last for just 10 seconds (which is very doable). I also tried making the model for the box elongated, but they spawn in kind of funkily around turns. I figured the dotted line was the best solution.... Have any ideas for it?

The BNET delay sucks if you don't have Lowlatency hack like the koreans do...

I haven't been on in a while, so I haven't been able to make any updates or anything. I was just browsing on SC2Mapster and saw this so I guess I've pretty much lost motivation.

Eh, it's all good though, since I was planning on starting on a map anyway for the SCII competition.

OVERWATCH STATUS GO

There were no curved lines in Tron! I'm glad you at least put the effort into making this for us to enjoy.

Hopefully your next endeavor will be just as cool.

Swampfox, i honestly like your feel a lot better. His controls are not smooth and it didnt have the right feel of tron. How against would you be to me taking the map you made and modifying it? I would of course give you original credit.

Well yea, of course it's dead. I said I wouldn't be working on it anymore. Buuuut, perhaps you are referring to Fallen? I'm curious to see the changes he has made, if any.

And lol at Urine. (I'll probably be waiting a few months to buy SC2 also :-_-: )
