I'm making a small mapping project called lane def, and it is with lanes. There are four lanes, and is there any terrain that can't be shot over? I plan to make it so you can view all lanes perfectly on one screen. But the marine can shoot over the lanes, and I want to fix it. Last question, what are the 1 x 1 in shuttle guys, the ones that take up only a small space of the shuttle. Thanks!
EDIT: How do you make computers move to a location?

I order you to forgive yourself!
I never heard of a terrain that could block marines to attack to the other side.
One way you could go about that, just make the players (owning the marine) ally the units that are on the other side.
Maybe you could try to explain your problem a bit more, I wasn't sure if I understood perfectly.

The lanes are like this: Inside of lanes= --------- Space between each lane= ___________

My marine can shoot between each space (random uncrossable terrain), and I really don't want him to. The ally thing is a great idea. But one problem is you can place traps in each lane, and It wouldn't allow you to use traps if you switch to an ally each time you leave the lane, which will be switched with the dropship. This is the way you put in traps btw, that's why I need the sizes of each unit.

You can only attack one lane at a time? If so, you can make the lanes that are not being attacked invincible.

Yes, and I really don't want to make the other lanes invincible, as I need traps to go off like spider mines. I'm confused about how I can make it so the spider mine is allied with you, and the enemy allied. I could still attack the enemy, even if he's allied.

How do you make computers move to a location?
There is an action, in scmdraft2, look for order.
There isn't any for order......
None.
The action's name is Order. It's between Mute Unit Speech and Pause Game. Its parameters are Unit, Player, Location, Order, and Destination. Issue order to Unit owned by
Player at
Location:
Order (Move, Attack, Patrol) to
Destination.
No terrain blocks weapon fire. Some terrain can block line of sight, for example a unit standing on low ground cannot see past cliffs and/or high ground; but if you have vision to an area, unit range is the only limiting factor.

I think it should work if you do it this way:
When the player is not in a certain lane, each certain amount of time, reset the HP to one hundred percent. Make sure the Marine got a low attack and the trap kills units almost instantly. If you do it that way, it should work.
Make sure your "monsters" have a very high HP, that would take a very long time to kill.
Set the %HP of the current attacked lane to a low % (eg, If you want 100 HP, do 1000 unit and spawn with 10%)

In general, you're not going to need to use Create Units with Properties. Just spawn them and THEN set their health to 10% by the Modify Unit Hitpoints action. Else you run the risk of using all 64 CUWP slots.

Err. I believe that 1 x 1 units that can be loaded into the shuttle would be... Including the heroes that are the same unit.
ZergDrone
Zergling
Infested Terran
Broodling
Infested Duran
Infested Kerrigan
Terran SCV
Ghost (Including the many Terran ghost heroes
)
Marine
Firebat
Medic
Civilian
ProtossProbe
;D.

For moving computer units, just use the 'order' trigger to make them attack/move/patrol.

Thanks a lot! Now all I have to do is program this.......

Instead of lane def, why not just make DDR? We need one of those maps
.

because stepmania is a much better game, and is already made, and free to download.
"Parliamentary inquiry, Mr. Chairman - do we have to call the Gentleman a gentleman if he's not one?"

Are you referring to the program or a .scm/.scx made based off of it? I just thought it would be interesting to port them to StarCraft.
None.
the game itself. Rhythm games don't translate well to SC due to latency issues. It would require a lot of triggers to develop such a system, a lot of time, and all for a couple of gameplays. I doubt it would be played online much, and the gameplay (especially when compared to SM) would just plainly suck. It wouldn't be fun...

You could be impressed, there was a time when I was thinking of making a Guitar Hero map. I wanted to see if it was worth it so I hosted a "Conversation map" on battle.net to speak about the idea and see what people would think. Amazingly, there were a lot more people that liked the idea than I thought.

... because they didn't know how poor rhythm maps would be on sc.
