No, they were random pubs. I think the average psr there was at least 1500, if not more. But i dont think you guys truly understand. It doesn't counter him that hard, even early game. After second level and above, his spines do more than the battery can heal, and the battery can only hold 10 charges in the beginning. Understandably, yes, it is a counter, although i would hardly say it is a complete counter.

In lane, if my opponent got a battery against me as arms, i just wouldnt spam quills. It really doesnt make that much of a difference, just cuts down on your harass a little.

Sure, quills do more damage to HP than a battery. But you're also giving them free mana.

Ultimo, I'm just as frustrated as you guys when I'm sucking. I've admitted I sucked several times. But constant bitching and moaning isn't going to make me magically improve- if anything, it'll make me play worse.

well I'm not sure what else will make you do better, you've done this multiple times to us and I'm not sure how I should go about handling it. You once farmed 50 creep kills in a 60 minute game as sandwraith, like really, what do I say to that?

Well, i lost my first game as arma today lol. But before that played a game with a ksing scout............ thats all i need to say.

I went 5-3-18 i think, and scout wound up ksing about 4 of my kills. I mean, blatantly. For example. Scout is right behind me, and i run into slither. Take his ult and spray, but i'm tank enough and keep following him, with extra quill sprays due to the passive armor. I get slither to like, 90 hp, and am about to kill him, when guess what! Scout runs up and 1 hits him for the kill...

Eventually he farmed a doombringer with his stolen kills, going on and on about how he was carrying. All i said was that if he hadnt ksed me, he wouldnt have had the money, and he promptly raged me.

The game i lost me and a ds outlaned a magebane and witch slayer. We then realized that our top, maliken and electrician, ahd failed to get a single kill, and died each 3 times. Malien never put a point into his as passive, instead leveling only sword throw, his lifesteal and damage thing, and ult. His ending score: 0-5... his ending items, boots, a crown, and a powerglove... i already had enhanced marchers

I think the best thing to do on arma, and it's nbeen working, is to but a scarab on the side shops when you have enough money. It lets you keep up mana for ganks and harass at the same time, which is what i think has been working so well on him for me so far.

Scout is supposed to KS, he's a carry.

Armadon cannot carry because his spells don't scale. Armadon is also terrible because anyone with a clue will lane someone with a nuke against you and just get a mana battery. Pyro gets a free nuke every few times you spray quills, doing easily as much as you are, not to mention getting healed.

This is BASIC.

They need to revamp him so he spams less spells, I think they did that in dota, basically upped the cost and cooldown but now they behave more like regular spells, and are less exploited by the mana battery.

Yes, as i said before faz, i understand this, and change my playstyle accordingly. If they go this way, then i just dont spam quills for harass in lane and instead just focus on last hitting. His spells scale in the way that his first reduces armor, which make his do more damage, and his damage reduction stacks with other tank items like hotbl and stuff... And he is not supposed to ks at all. KSing is always, always, a terrible thing. I wouldnt have minded if scout had, well, helped the team out, but he basically waited till the end of battle and ksed, which is not ok, even if he is the carry.

Armadon is also apparently far from terrible as most of you apparently dont understand. He is a great solo ganker/ gank initiator due to his snot, and if used right, can decimate team battles with his quills. I just think he is underestimated a lot. Sure in lane he may not be the best because a mana battery hurts his laning, but he can lane without spells if done right, and with the right partner is better than anyone with a batter to counter him.

This also would be quite nice, although im not sure quite how they'll do it. If they increase the cost and cd, then they need to make the spells stronger. They'll also need to increase the duration the ultimate lasts in order to keep his balance correctly. It's either that or make it so one of his spells doesnt give mana battery charges.

Armadon is terrible. He has trash damage and a trash animation for last hitting, and if you're not using spells you're just dying.

If you're the carry, it's pretty much your job to KS. You don't even remotely understand the game.

Faz, there's a difference between ksing and last hitting for gold. Killstealing when you have contributed absolutely nothing to the fight is way out of line in any match. Like scouts who only use their ult to last hit people, when it is much better used for an initiation helper. Especially in pubs, it's never necessary to ks. I'm fine with them last hitting opponents when i'm in a teamfight, that's just fine by me. But when my team is fighting 3 guys, we kill two, and then scout comes in just to finish the last guy, while he sat int he back for the whole fight is unacceptable.

And stop flaming me. I obviously understand the game faz. You have yourself on this high pedestal thinking you know absolutely everything about the game. If you really know that much, use your knowledge in a constructive manner. Right now you have plugs in your ears and only hear what you want to hear, without even considering the argument the other side is giving.

To be honest, if I'm ganking someone and my carry comes in for the last hit, I wouldn't care, I usually encourage it. Though I do not like Scout as a carry though. Ask IP. ;O

Before that though, my scout was awesome. I don't know what you are talking about.

I don't give a shit about any stat besides wins and losses. If scout is going to run in and last hit someone that I did 99% damage to, good for him: it's going to help us win a lot more than me finishing off the kill would.

Panda+DSham is my new favorite lane. =)

I splatted a scout with it and kept getting last hits for some reason, lol. Scout+Lion couldn't even touch us. Check out my damage to enemy heroes compared to teammates.

And yes, Panda + DS is a very strong lane, very strong synergy with the physical spells and the minus armor, imba! O_O any lane with Panda is usually imba though, lol.

Yes, i agree to let a carry get kills, i understand.

What i dnt agree with is a carry farming half of the game, and not helping in teamfights until he has a doombringer, basically prolonging the game that could have been over many times before. He wasnt even carrying our team until the last push, and really didnt need more kills than the rest of our carries.

for llike the last 4 of my games ive been against a predator who always pwns. i think i hate that hero and his immunity. who r everyones favorite dota (non-HoN) heroes, and why? i think most heroes in HoN are pretty much very similar. spells are usually either disbale, stun, nuke, dps, slow, support, and such. i like heroes with unique spells like soul reapers ultimate and arachnas slow and sand's phase spell

He tried to, and his hero suggestion was amazing, but sadly it died out for some reason.

I also had a good game as wildsoul. Basically jungled and helped the top lane not die for the first 15 minutes of the game, until the laning phase was basically over. I aslo found out a better build, or so i think, for wildsoul now that the leash on booboo was changed.

I start with a shield on booboo, just to help him tank a little, and an hp pot. If the lane nearest me is gankers, ill go wards also to avoid them, if not ill give him a loggers.

I then proceed to lvl booboo and synergy fist, all while farming up to a mock. Once i get that, i get steamboots on wildsoul, and lvl his active to 4 before going his ult at all, unless my team really needs a tank, whereas ill vl his ult. The trick is that the steamboots basically make you the same speed as booboo, making it easier to micro them effectively, due to the leash change. I then tend to go slash on both of them, and either build booboo a vanguard or just an upgraded shield.

The mock, when obtained early, just lets wildsoul rip people apart, especially because there's no leash. I got a triple kill with booboo while my opponents were chasing one of my teammates ( i was slower with wild at this point and couldnt catch up), just by chasing after them and letting the mock do its work.Witht his build and his actiive, you can have booboo and wildsoul constantly running a 488(wild) to 493(booboo) ms, which lets you kill people like there's no tomorrow.
