My mother thinks this is show is meaningless and for five year olds, (or) kids. I cannot agree with this. For those of you that watch this show and take it seriously, what are your thoughts? America may have turned it into a kids cartoon, but I watch the japanese episodes with english subs. Naruto is something I would consider for adults. It has happiness, love, hate, detestation, sadness, grief, sorrow, joy, life, and death. It has blood, tears, war, fighting.
People are brutally murdered in this show, it even speaks in its own religion for some characters. It even has gambling. There is a man that believes he is a god, that he has "evolved" from more than man. He believes that as a god, bringing world destruction will bring world peace, and cause the world to mature through pain. He believes that after the world destroys itself, they will turn to him as their god and leader. Do you still think this show is for kids? Do you still think its stupid? Then watch these videos I have taken the time to look up and select for you:

-Character Quotes-
Itachi Uchiha - "People live their lives bound by what they accept as correct and true. That's how they define 'reality'. But what does it mean to be 'correct' or 'true'? Merely vague concepts... their 'reality' may all be a mirage. Can we consider them to be simply be living in their own world, shaped by their beliefs?"
Itachi Uchiha - "The people of this clan are all the same. You focus on the trivial, and lose sight of what's most important. Change is impossible, in this fog of ignorance. How can we evolve when regulation is all we know?"
Pain - "We're both of the same breed, after all ... motives for war are of no concern. Religion, Ideology, Resources, Land, Spite, Love, or 'Just because ...' No matter how pathetic the reason, it's enough to start a war."
Pain - "Those who do not understand true pain can never understand true peace."
Pain - "We are but men, drawn to act in the name of revenge we deem to be "justice". But when we call our vengeance "justice", it only breeds more revenge ... forging the first link in the chains of hatred."
Pain - "I want you to feel pain, to think about pain, to accept pain, to know pain."
Now tell me, what do you think?
And also, in your response, PLEASE Be Mature
