Unexpected Savior Emerges to Prevent Harsh Justice

Late this afternoon, a lynch mob was again assembling in the streets of Gotham. This time, however, they were prevented in their deadly aims by an unlikely hero. The angry townspeople began assembling outside of FatalException's house, calling for his head. Some police were spotted in the area, but it seems that they were not interested in preventing the mob from participating in the mysterious Joker's social experiments. Several people have rumored that the town thinks it better to not suffer the anger of the Joker at night and simply concede to his demands.

The mob waited outside of FatalException's house for a few minutes, before becoming impatient. One of the men at the front of the mob drew a sledgehammer and began smashing in the front door. But as the first hammer stroke fell, there was the rev of an engine, and a vehicle crashed through the garage door. Driving with great skill, Ashamed swerved through the crowd and sped away into the gathering dark, leaving the mob without the body they demanded. Now the town will sleep uneasily as again the Joker's target lives.

Devourer Disappears After Police Interview

Reports have been filtering in to the Globe that Devourer, the man found strapped to a searchlight last night, assumed a mafia apprehended by the Batman, has disappeared. He was interrogated in cells this morning where he reportedly confessed his mafia alignment, but he has not been seen since. Whether he escaped, was let go by the police, or was removed to solitary confinement is unknown. When reached by phone, Sgt. Matthew Lloyd of the Gotham Police said that the department does not have comment on the matter at this point.

So does the joker get two hits? Eh, that's leaning towards a /facepalm. We save FE and probably lose two townies, unless the randomizer works in our favour.

..... zany, if the mafia doctor uses protect on dev, its true that they lose a hit, but their total mafia count stays 5. which means that they can still get 5 hits on us.

So Devourer, CONFIRMED MAFIA, is on the loose again?

So now we lose a lynch and we get two random hits on the town, fantastic. this is probably the stupidest outcome possible.

Not only the joker will do 2 random hits now, but we also didn't kill the mafia. So there will be 7 dead people by tomorrow's dawn unlike the 5 expected from other scenarios.

You should have said that you were going to do something THAT silly so we'd at least lynch devourer...

Day 5: Townies 13 - 6 = 7 (assuming you guys don't do something stupid again)
Day 6: Townies 7 - 5 = 2 <--- God save them.

I say we just lynch Ashamed for fucking things up because with the constant bickering and bad interpretations in here, it looks like we lose anyway.

I was going to say that but he can't do anything more. He totally wasted his one time ability so he can't screw up another time.

We still have the Batman, the Joker, three patrolmen and one doctor left. Meaning that the Batman and the Joker can absorb hits, along with one save by a doctor, and 3 jails. I recommend if you have not used your dodge yet, use it now. With a possibility of 6+ hits tonight, there will be death.

edit: also Corbo, that is not entirely accurate. If you factor in the joker hits, you would need to include the mafia in the calculations. Also for the mafia hits, the Joker would have to be included.

I recommend a one patrolmen jail Ashamed for the night I suppose.

lol and let me know your rolls... I mean the worst that can happen is a few mafia lie but I will be able to look at the numbers and tell that... SO if mafia tells me they are "Batman" And i have two people telling me they are batman then we will know that one of them is mafia and then we can have someone check one of them up and then boom theres a mafia.

The fact that you're sooo desperate to know our roles makes me not trust you, you could have made a deal with the mafia, who knows.

Even shocko knows what I am but I won't trust you, specially not after what you did. I recommend everyone else to not trust him.
I also recommend patrolmen to jail shocko and zany, they're valuable players. Mafia has no reason to lynch ashamed anyway, he's powerless now.
I do not recommend the BDS to hit devourer, he'll be too damn protected, analyze the clues, cryptograms and find someone else unexpected to target. You can come to me and we'll do it together, or not if you wish and go with shocko that knows the cryptograms/clues as well.

Other than that, I want mafia to kill me this night. This has gotten too stupid with townies not thinking their moves.
