Wooden Armour isn't really what is states it is well, he could be referring to shields which were wooden commonly used.
Well to put it frankly wooden Armour refers square shield which was used until the iron era when smiting metal shields were possible

Hmm, VHP? I wish my RPG was in VHP! You can really customize things to the extreme with VHP. Good luck with the RPG, and don't stop working on this thing!

I'm assuming your weapons and armour will be represented by resources and powerups? If not, then maybe in text? If your items are represented in text, you should really think about adding a massive variety of items to use :P

Possibly more classes, each with its own unique armor/weapon buffs?

Just adds depth, although it looks great/like you were meaning to add more.

pretty much the entire game is represented by text. im using doodads to represent various shops and other buildings and text to represent shop prices, character overview and everything else.

i forgot to mention... the game is controlled by a dropship. the following controls are included;
Confirm - allows you to confirm list options
Next - allows you to scroll list options
Equip - a menu that allows you to equip weapons and armor
Overview - gives you details of your character
Objectives - displays your current objective and rank in guild

hmm.. can you give me some more insight? like so you can customize and develop certain skills? maybe give me a few examples?

Maybe you can have potions that add strength or something like that...

You're going to need more than 3 abilities per character if you want this to keep anyone's attention for 10 quests.

I think hes going to add some more...

For the spells i think he should turn all 8 options to spells...
