I just went 20-7-a bunch as scout. That's the first time I've ever lead in player kills. I tied for second to last for deaths. That's a personal record. And we still lost.

Don't you hate that feeling? You do everything possible to carry your team to victory with amazing items, kills and assists, yet you still lose because their combined effort beats out yours.

We were, still are. Its just, I'm going to college now, and trying to balance time within four different games, and testing with Ex all time time on SC.

nice game with legionaire. the tides of war kept on going back and forth and back and forth. plus we had a nymphora on our team who fed enemy predator so much, but i lead my team to victory, cept they had annoying team, they had pest and andro, who were ganking everyone with their stuns.

i got blink and magic immunity, so i would just blink taunt, whirl meh blade, magic immune, clean up! it was pretty sweet.

Pest is just like "LOL 522 YOU CANT RUN, LOL ULT YOU CANT HIDE"

Also: they had 2 carries, which is probably why they lost.

We always run a dual carry when we play, and we do fine. Well, not two hard carries, more like soft carries usually, or pseudo-carries. Like, when me and IP play, we usually go Arach + Valk (even though Valk is more like support, she can carry, see screenshot before ), or when Kow goes Sand Wraith or NH. Just depends on the line up really, but the most popular line up right now is probably an AoE team.

Gankers, if they're successful, more often than not turn into carries. It's probably my favorite role, but I'm only good t it with certain characters.

Pharaoh can gank all he wants, but I doubt he would ever turn into a carry.

Yes. He seriously just doesnt scale well enough to ever be able to compete, expect with his ult, which basically is one of the best initiators in the game. He starts out as a heavy carry, since he can deal huge damage early game, and usually gets a few kills with rockets and such, but later game his spells just dont increase enough in power unless you get staff of the master on him, which makes him waaay better.

On another note: played with the best tree player ever today, after i reluctantly traded him for madman (i love tree ). He wound up being amazing, and could both gank and support. In team battles he would own with ult and tree grab for support, warded the forest, and got a mock. With the posthaste he had, he could outrun most enemy heroes, and would gank them by simply chasing them with mock. It was funny as hell, especially since he was invis.

I did meh as madman, had a 2:1 k:d for the game, like 8-4.

Yeah Kow I don't know if I agree with that. =p

Most pro teams right now are running 1 hard carry and a pseudo-carry or two.

Some winning lineups recently (with bans):
- Madman, Kraken, Demented Shaman, Pharaoh, Plague Rider
- Magebane, Plague Rider, Hellbringer, Demented Shaman, Hammerstorm
- Pestilence, Valkyrie, Succubus, Soul Reaper, Hellbringer
- Dark Lady, Behemoth, Plague Rider, Demented Shaman, Hellbringer

Demented Shaman and Hellbringer are particularly liked as awesome babysitters, I've been playing Demented Shaman a lot myself recently.

soulstealer is really good. maybe one of my favs. i had ok game with him, 3-3-10. so good at last hitting and denying. i pwned a pyromancer who was soloing with me by denying everything.

only reason why i died 3 times is cause i was greedy and i would chase down enemies but then andromeda would use her ultimate on me and their team would pwn me.

A: Yes, Pharaoh is an epic carry. The problem is, everyone kill steals me when I trap enemies in mummies, and takes kills when I stun them with Wrath. You should see some of my pub games though..

B: Pharaoh is so nerfed. He deals close to zero damage, and it only gets worse by late game. You need items to survive, and when people take your kills (Hi SEN group.) there isn't a damned thing you can do except to deal a two second stun every 40 (20) seconds.

I don't think Pharaoh is an epic carry. Assuming we did let you get kills, what would you buy that would let you carry the team? You specialize in taking out one enemy, and that's it. None of your abilities scale, so I don't think you could carry us at all.

Fricking Raccoon, you're not allowed to play with us until you get better, you put fricking Kevin to shame.

Brutalizer and Savage Mace, followed with Deamonic Plate and Shieldbreaker, and probably a Runic Axe and Abyssal Skull or Elder Parasite.

That gives Pharaoh triple stuns, and a lot of damage.

Stop playing EM. Am I right this time...?

The question was what I would buy to carry the team. Not what game mode we would be playing.
