Now THAT is an interesting bug!

And I think it deserves an interesting ruling.

If you are somehow lucky enough to transform on the exact frame, exactly right before you are about to die, on your last life, you are still in allowed to play in the game, to as far as the game will allow. Basically the way you guys played it out.

Or maybe I'll just edit 3.3 so that so that you're still affected by spells after 3 deaths, but I don't know. Doing something like that would probably give rise to new problems.

Sounds really bad ass, and balanced in its own weird way somehow. It's like the game was like "Well technically you should be dead, but technically you did tansform.... so you shouldn't have died. How about you get 1 more life, but you can't use any spells or civilian level ups? Too weak/useless? Well how about you can't be affected by any crazy spell effects?"

I think this is fair btw cafg you need to change days from Tuesday ;( I cant play on tuesdays T.T

But this glitch really is unfair. It can change tides in the game because the mech spawns with 100% hp, not the hp it is set as depending on hp ups.

No, the mech spawns with its own hp level of hp, making it not that great unless it went hp mech (hp mech....)

It is slightly balanced, but idk what would happen if the mech did such a thing while it still had one or more lives left.

Q: Does TS work by spawning the unit with full hp near the temple so itll just revert to hp level, or does it spawn it with hp equal to hp level right off the bat.

If the former is true, we could get a full hp mech...

But then again, different forms of mech hold hp until healed, so idk.

It's not 100% hp mech(according to meme), and the mech doesn't get spells or level ups. This "extra life" mech is fair because even though 1 of his forms died, you did transform before he died.... so he shouldn't have died. So your half-assed escape from death warrants a half-assed last life. Not to mention odds are this won't even happen once during the tourny, especially since this bug has always been in the triggers and has never happened until now. That says a little bit about its odds of occurrence.

yes, which is why the above glitch happens the way it does. This won't happen, however, on the glitch you mentioned, because it's not spawning you a new mech, it's just moving 1 from your bay.

That Mech bug has been around forever, I'm surprised you've never seen it before.

It's definitely a bug, the game thinks you're dead because you are dead. You lose your gateway and whatever you tried to change into spawns with full HP wherever you died (Often resulting in a kill for you, if it was a close fight). If you try to heal it will drop to whatever your level was, I'd assume.

If that happens the player should just hide somewhere, run into cannons and die, or just leave.


This bug can happen if the Mech isn't on his last life, with a similar thing happening. He just doesn't lose his gateway, because he isn't out of lives. His unit will still spawn with full HP wherever he died.

Faz- check the replay. You will clearly see the mech spawn with its hp level life. I believe this can only happen on the last life because the trigger for full hp never runs, and the vult hp is saved before death, and gets pulled before death.

Im pretty happy now that i know triggers enough to predict them without ever making a map.

EDIT: Another glitch in the replay attached.

If volt dies during L1, his scourge stay and fly around the map, although some stop for an unkown reason. They still st un as if the L1 was legit, and i beleive they drain mana.

That volt glitch has been around since volt got shockwave for his lv1. Fortunately in M7 and M3.2, it only happens rarely when the volt dies during lv1, as opposed to past versions where it would happen if someone just used 2 spells at once.

Ruling is to just play through it. I suggest soaking up those scourges around the map before they can do any harm.

If he doesn't show you'll just move to the singles pool. You will be given a third.

There also seems to be some concern about being in the singles pool, like that there's a possibility you won't get to play if the total of singles isn't divisible by 3.
This is a false worry. I will do what I have done with every single other TS tourny, if somehow you can't find enough people to make a team of 3 because you were last and everyone is taken, BUT YOU SIGNED UP, then you will be given a first round by - giving you at least another thirty minutes to find some kind of partner. And if you STILL can't find anyone, then you will have your choice of any player that has been knocked out in the first round.

This is why people should always stick around for the first 2 rounds even after they have lost, there's a good chance (more than 50%) that you will get picked up in a new team, or subbed in for a leaver.

Wow, so far we have 29(not including the champ team), and the number of people that join the day of the tourny by just showing up is usually around 10 people. So this if tradition holds true this one will be the biggest. Hopefully the other tradition doesn't happen, which is around 10 people that signed up never show.

...and I haven't even started advertising on west yet.
