Creeper The HauntingBased off of Silent HillStorylineYour town Asbath is a wonderful town and peaceful; you awake in your bed and go talk to people around the town which will be the last day you shall ever.... see your friends alive again. You go to bed and awake at night to find a strange man walking. He walks through the wall and you get very scared and over come it. You check the town at night to see what had happened and notice there are loud noises and strange sounds outside. You check each house until you find a house that had someone standing in it, and you are wondering what had happened to this peaceful town and run back to your house. There are four different islands in your tiny country which is called Asonbo. Will you last the forever night or die trying its up to you to find out!
GameplayYou find items and collect weapons and try to find a way to get out of the scary lands of the once happy town of Asbath...Fight monsters in TBC Style combat.

Making your post a bit more readable, professional and organized can go a long way in getting people to comment and suggest. You should get screen shots up as soon as possible not only because they are mandatory, but because it gives people both a feel of the map and how much you're willing to put into it. Also, proper spelling and conventions really are essential, particularly in your actual game- even if your map turns out to be really fun, people will be turned off by terrible grammar.

Why do you spontaneously get too lazy to spell "you" and "your" when you have the words spelled out throughout the post? Usually I see people consistently type correctly or not at all. I think this is the first time I've seen someone mix it up. I highly recommend using Kaias' layout for this, otherwise it just looks messy.
I'd also recommend elaborating on what to expect with gameplay (especially considering it's single player). Since it's based on Silent Hill, is it essentially just a hack-and-slash type of game? What can we expect, in other words.
And screenshots are a must from the start. I'll hold you to the 12 hour thing, but for future reference you need them when a thread is made. Basically a "Production" thread is supposed to inform SEN about a map that is actually in production and out of the idea phase, and screenshots are supposed to help prove that.

While you are being creative with you terrain, at this stage it is a little infantile; this is probably your first time trying to create special terrain like this for a map. Especially with the Jungle tileset there are a lot of possibilities and 'blends' open to you for creating quite beautiful scenes.
And, quite fortunately for you there is currently work being done with trying to create a comprehensive guide to terrain making: read through the Tutorial threads in the
Terrain Wiki Project Forum and here is a
link to show you how much potential the art of terrain making can have. I suggest also looking through some of the jungle work in the
Terrain Compilation. You can even copy bits and pieces from the maps to help create your master piece.
Another major element in the genre is mood. Through the use of sounds, text and design you can create a very particular and impressive feel to your map. One of my personal favorite maps I highly recommend in terms of mood and story is qPirateKing's
Deep Blue. Unfortunately, it was never finished.

Oh cool I am also making a map based off of Silent Hill! It's basically gonna be called...Silent Hill lol. In one of your screenshots I even see the name "Maria" which is the name of one of my charaters. You make me want to post my own production so I don't look like a copier
I can see though ours are pretty different so I'm not too worried. Yours is single-player, mines will be multi-player. Mines is directly taken from Silent Hill 2, yours is sort of a spin off. Mines is Badlands, yours is Jungle. So really no reason to be concerned of ours being too simillar.
From what I see it seems yours is going to be heavy on story? I also like that timer thing you added at top =). I'd like to see the final project of this and compare it to mine

The timer thing is a feature of oblivion. It's not a part of the map. Oblivion is a maphack program.

If you'd like, I can create a mod for your map. There will be all sorts of advantages, from the player not randomly healing when you change weapons, to custom spells that can be triggered directly from the player's unit. Note that players will have to downgrade their SC in order to play (if you want the coolest features of the mod), but that's really easy.

Seems like you mean more cluttered, not blocky. The term "blocky" when talking about SC terrain refers to the unrealistic look that unblended extended terrain forms when you put random tiles next to each other. In this case, the terrain should look
less blocky.
