Also, when using the String Editor, allow us to select a string, select text in it and (here is the important part since the rest was already available ;)) click on the color tab at the right so it auto assign the color to it.
Samsizzle, I had already mentioned that, but thanks for the screenie ^^ You might also try to create more then 64 locations, it becomes interesting :P

Minor suggestion:
Buildings should show the appropriate burning or bleeding if their health is low enough.

:payne:

That Zoom feature should be upgraded too: show the map's edges because it can be confusing to see past it when zoomed out.
Also, is it only my CPU sucking or when you zoom in just a bit, it starts lagging like a mofo? ;o

I see you !

zoom in shouldn't lag at all, zoom out may lag tho.

Sep 14 2009, 5:41 pm Ahli Post #126

I do stuff and thingies... Try widening and reducing the number of small nooks and crannies to correct the problem.

Zoom still freezes my Vista Home Premium SP2. Sometimes I can zoom out to 66%. But mostly it freezes scmdraft.
I don't know if it's important, but the new beta's saved maps can't be opened by the original 0.8.0.

I see you !

I cant reproduce that, anyone else?

I have SP1 and it works fine.

Hello

Quote from samsizzle

What the heck is this? The whole list is like this even if there's named locations. It only changes Unnamed location if i make a new one and name it, but it goes back to Unnamed if i close the map and open it again.

Even worse:
When you created a location, deleted it, and created one again, at the tree on the left side there is missing the new location: it isn't listed, even if you rename the new location.

Please report errors in the Staredit.Network forum.

Sep 14 2009, 7:36 pm Suicidal Insanity Post #130

I see you !

see my previous reply, the location tree accidently only shows unused locations.

Sep 14 2009, 7:42 pm Kaias Post #131

Ah, that would explain why I don't see any locations listed.

It never worked with my Vista SP1, too. :(
Maybe my dxdiag can help you.

edit:
-"CPU percentage used" drops from 2-9% to 0-2%
-RAM used raises or falls (depending on chosen zoom)

I see you !

Its pure software, so dxdiag wont help. I can try it in a fresh vista SP1 virtual PC but until recently I had that as my main OS and it worked.

It'd be a cool add-on if you could put a little [C] or something after a sprite that crashes so we know which sprites can crash the game automatically.. ^^

SI, since you didn't answer my PM:
Is it at all possible to include other languages (possibly in another build) into ScmDraft?
A friend of mine would be interested in a German version.
I'd be willing to do the necessary translation work.

Sep 15 2009, 10:05 pm Wormer Post #136

YAY! I support the idea of the other languages support!
Probably I would be able to do translation into Russian!

Some.

Sep 15 2009, 10:46 pm payne Post #137

:payne:

I'd translate into French ^^

can you make the switching players thing back to normal again like so that it works ALWAYS when you press 1-p1, 2-p2 etc.

Oh and the shortcut keys for copying/moving/deleting actions and conditions doesnt work anymore.

Sep 16 2009, 11:03 am Kaias Post #139

When I have a trigger open and it's window selected hotkeys like 'd' for delete won't act on the action or condition I have selected, but rather whatever I have selected in the trigger listing window (which is usually the trigger I'm editing). As you can imagine, accidentally deleting a whole bunch of your triggers when you meant to kill some conditions can be very dangerous.

Also, I need to reiterate how crucial bookmarks in the triggers are.

OVERWATCH STATUS GO

I dunno if this has been suggested yet, but "Undo" doesn't work seem to work for me in the Trigger Editor. Unless I just screwed something up on my end, it would be nice if it did. :P
