Actually, retard, it'll get me a game on my map. Which is all I want in the end lol. Besides, how is saying "imbalanced" and not even specifying how, or even for which race, feedback I want? If challenging morons like this to 1:1's will get them to stop posting stupid comments, then I'll be even more inclined to do it.

In case you didn't realise Titan, I make maps to be played, and so anytime I can challenge someone to a 1:1 that they might accept, I get the chance to have my map played. I don't know why the fuck you make maps, if not that. It's not an ego thing; it's to give me a chance to test if my map is possible for any race in any match up (which it may not be, but I can be pretty creative in my strategies, so it would take awhile to figure out an unstoppable build for any particular match up).

PS: I'm pretty fucking sure if you have time to make maps, be active on forums, continually harass me with your pointless bullshit, then you have time to play StarCraft. I've thought it since you said you didn't want to play any games on your map, but then I didn't think there was any reason to make a fuss about it: You don't want to play games because you're afraid of losing respect of your peers who think you know a lot. Maybe that's not true, but it sure fucking looks that way from where I'm sitting. I know I'm not an amazing player, I can admit that. I only give advice within my limits, and I always say exactly why I think something, so if there's a flaw in my thinking, it's no big deal because I didn't state it as fact. You however, as much as you tell me I'm the know it all who thinks he's right all the time, do state everything as if it were the unquestionable word of a god. And if the map maker disagrees with you, he must be immature and ignorant because you're apparently so fucking gosu.

Except playing SC means devoting 20-30 minutes all at once. I usually only have time to be on for 5-10 minutes and people don't like to stare at black and white screens while I do whatever I have to. Forums and mapping is different, I can leave it for however long I want and come back whenever I feel like it. I apologize for not having gobs of time on my hand to play SC since that seems oh-so-important to you. For your information, being able to make a good map has almost nothing to do with being good at SC. I'm so fucking rusty right now from my lack of playing the last month, I'm probably an "upper noob" right now, but that doesn't mean I don't know strategies or suffer from memory loss so as to be incapable of remembering how the game is played.

Hm...nice bit of hypocrisy this piece here is. When the mapmaker is a douche, and has a record of such behavior, my attitude changes toward him over time, you're learning that. When I get feedback, I listen instead of challenging them to a 1v1 so I can rape them because I know the ins and outs of my map and laugh in their face afterward.

Chef, so far I haven't seen any great arguments against this map other than the sunken, even so, smart playing seems like it would keep one out of that trouble. Again, even for "experimental" this map is pretty cool and I like the idea especially when I see the path variability to the opposite base while you don't have to scout like a mad person to check them all.

Two things get to me, 1) the tightness of the choke outside the nat and 2) the lack of D-webs directly behind the main base minerals.
Tell me what you think of those issues.

1st, there are chokes that can fuck over the entire map. And I see no visible field that can emphasize alot of flanks and strategies that involve large amount of land. I see alot of places where siege tanks can be dropped off to kill off probes. Thats imbalanced enough.

These are areas I believe to be sufficient for flanking, especially given the unit combinations I predict on this map.

There are no places on this map that can't be reached by ground to defend from a tank drop. If I had to take a wild guess, I would assume you have under 60 apm

Hey retard, if I know the ins and outs of my map, and that gives me an unfair advantage, doesn't mean I'm better qualified to judge the balance of my map? I'm not saying that's true, I think anyone could figure out the ins and outs of my map just by looking at the image, but if we follow your logic, that would seem to me to be the conclusion. Not that you've said anything specific about balance anyway.

Actually, it does to a degree. My skill in making maps has increased as I've gotten better at playing the game. It might not make you better if you're a shitty pure mechanical player, but if you actually think about the game and devise your own strategies to fit the situation at hand, I'd say it definitely helps in mapping.
